We&rsquo;re looking for an exceptional leader to own and evolve Devoted&rsquo;s Provider Services function.
Provider Services is a critical operational engine that supports our providers and enterprise at scale. Today, this work is delivered through a large offshore service model. We believe the future looks fundamentally different.
AI, voice automation, digital workflows, and self-service are changing the cost and quality curve of operational work, creating a unique opportunity to reimagine Provider Services as a modern, technology-enabled service engine that delivers better provider experience, stronger quality, and a structurally lower cost model.
In this role, you&rsquo;ll lead both the day-to-day operational excellence of Provider Services and the design, implementation, and ownership of its next-generation operating model. We&rsquo;re looking for a systems-minded operator who can own outcomes end to end &mdash; a true builder-operator who can lead a scaled service organization today while designing, implementing, and owning the workflows, systems, and tooling that will define how the function operates in the future.
The best candidate will combine operational excellence, systems thinking, obsession with detail, pace-setting execution, and the ability to create confidence through change. This role is ideal for someone who organizes around metrics and outcomes, runs to hard problems, has a strong track record of achieving results, and thrives in ambiguity while building durable systems that outlast any one leader.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:</h2><ul><li>
Ownership of Devoted&rsquo;s Provider Services function, including service levels, quality, provider experience, operational performance, compliance, and cost</li><li>
Leading a large-scale provider support organization, including offshore and vendor-supported operations</li><li>
Running the current machine while designing, implementing, and owning the future-state machine</li><li>
Defining and executing the roadmap for modernizing Provider Services through voice AI, advanced dialer, digital channels, workflow automation, and self-service</li><li>
Establishing clear visibility into units of work, productivity, quality, cost, workforce planning, and performance metrics</li><li>
Building and operationalizing AI-enabled and human-in-the-loop workflows that improve quality, consistency, speed, and provider satisfaction</li><li>
Managing the function through rigorous metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards, with clear accountability for outcomes</li><li>
Partnering cross-functionally with Network and other health plan operations teams to solve upstream drivers of provider issues and improve end-to-end provider experience</li><li>
Leading through significant evolution while creating confidence, momentum, stability, and strong culture through change</li><li>
Raising the talent bar across the organization by setting the pace and modeling high standards</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required skills and experience:</h2><ul><li>
At least 10 years of leadership experience with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes in complex operational environments</li><li>

Salary Range: $137,000-$247,000

Director of Provider Services (Operational Transformation)

About the Role:
As a Devoted Preventative Primary Care Provider, you&rsquo;ll be part of a mission-driven, interdisciplinary clinical team focused on improving the health, dignity, and quality of life of our members. You&rsquo;ll meet patients in the first step of their primary care journey with Devoted Medical. You&rsquo;ll conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, support chronic condition management, and emphasize preventative and proactive care. You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, care coordinators, caregivers, and families to deliver coordinated, member-centered care.
This role sits at the intersection of preventative care, primary care and complex care management &mdash; it is not a traditional primary care panel role, and it&rsquo;s not a one-time Annual Wellness Visit role. You&rsquo;ll develop a relationship with your members while working in a supportive, tech-enabled environment designed to optimize clinical time and connection.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>
Conduct primarily telehealth video visits, with limited and occasional in-home visits to members in your local area.</li><li>
Perform comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based care focused on prevention, chronic condition support, medication optimization, and health maintenance.</li><li>
Identify and address care gaps, coordinate with external and internal care team members, and contribute to individualized, whole-person care plans.</li><li>
Utilize integrated technology and AI-enabled workflows to reduce administrative burden and maximize meaningful member interaction time.</li><li>
Communicate with empathy and clarity, fostering trust and confidence with members and caregivers.</li></ul>
Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
Active Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.</li><li>
3+ years of outpatient clinical practice, ideally in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics.</li><li>
Active and clear NP/PA license in at least one of the following states: 
AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KY, MS, MO, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX
 
(must be willing to obtain additional licenses within the first 90 days &mdash; support and reimbursement provided)</li><li>
Active BLS certification at time of hire.</li><li>
Comfort with delivering care via video telehealth and using electronic documentation systems.</li></ul>
Preferred Experience:<ul><li>
Familiarity with managed care models, including STARS/HEDIS and identification of care gaps.</li><li>
Experience performing comprehensive or preventive care visits with Medicare populations.</li><li>
Experience supporting older adults and/or individuals with complex medical or social needs.</li></ul>

A bit about this role:
Devoted Medical has built a best-in-class Hypertension Clinic to manage and coordinate care in a manner consistent with Devoted&rsquo;s values of treating every member like family. Members with chronic conditions, like hypertension, often lack access to high-quality care because of a scarcity of primary or specialist care in their community or personal barriers to traveling to seek care. Elevated blood pressure is the leading contributor of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality&ndash; in fact, complications from raised blood pressure account for 53% of all heart disease and stroke deaths globally. Despite a mountain of proven effective interventions, the prevalence of hypertension and adverse events related to cardiovascular disease are rising at an alarming rate.
We are on a mission to eradicate preventable death due to hypertension by replicating best-in-class hypertension care through our virtual care platform. Our multidisciplinary team combines remote monitoring, medication management, and high-touch disease education to deliver seamless specialty care in the comfort of our members&rsquo; homes.
As a Cardiovascular Clinical Guide, you will make a meaningful impact every day by supporting members throughout their care journey. Drawing on your coaching skills, you&rsquo;ll review each member&rsquo;s medical history, medications, and lifestyle habits, and help them build the confidence and tools they need to monitor and improve their cardiovascular health. You&rsquo;ll play a key role on our specialty care team, empowering members to set achievable goals, overcome barriers, and make lasting changes that lead to healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>
Screen members for eligibility in the Hypertension Clinic</li><li>
Provision BP monitors, assess proper measurement technique, and reinforce accurate self-monitoring practices</li><li>
Conduct comprehensive hypertension assessments, including review of medical history, medications, adherence patterns, and lifestyle habits</li><li>
Deliver intensive lifestyle and nutrition counseling focused on sodium and alcohol reduction, weight management through heart-healthy eating and portion control, increased physical activity, and smoking cessation support</li><li>
Identify barriers to healthy behaviors and coach members toward realistic, sustainable health goals</li><li>
Utilize motivational interviewing skills with the goal to influence positive sustained behavioral changes</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all member interactions</li><li>
Schedule follow-up appointments with yourself, program providers, or the member&rsquo;s primary care provider as needed</li><li>
Connect members with the right resources within Devoted to troubleshoot clinical or care-coordination issues</li><li>
Coordinate multidisciplinary care with Devoted teams, including Specialty Care NPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Workers, Behavioral Health, Community Guides (financial assistance), Clinical Associates, and Outbound Guides</li><li>
Serve as the member&rsquo;s primary point of contact throughout program enrollment, guiding them through the care journey</li><li>
Synchronize and communicate care plans with PCP or other community care providers</li><li>
