Position Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented communicator eager to make a difference? We're seeking a dedicated Site Operations Associate to facilitate our blood donation process and play a pivotal role in our Donor Clinic team. The Site Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in checking in donors upon arrival, ensuring donor paperwork is completed, setting up daily appointments, and ensuring donors are compensated for their donations. 


A Day in the Life of a Site Operations Associate at Discovery Life Sciences:
<ul>
<li>Communicate with donors to discuss the donation process</li>
<li>Create donor profiles in Salesforce database</li>
<li>Update donor information within the appointment Calendar</li>
<li>Schedule donor appointments</li>
<li>Assign collection kits to donor appointments in Salesforce</li>
<li>Check donors out by using virtual payment system</li></ul> 


Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
<ul>
<li>Highschool Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Phlebotomy experience strongly desired</li>
<li>Must be able to tolerate the sight of body fluids including blood/blood products</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.</li>
<li>com experience is desirable but not required</li>
<li>Previous phlebotomy experience is desirable but not required</li>
<li>Able to work independently as well as in a team setting</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul> 


Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Create Donor profiles in Salesforce database</li>
<li>Schedule Donor appointments</li>
<li>Communicate with donors via telephone, email, or text to verify appointments</li>
<li>Direct donors to collection areas.</li>
<li>Communicate with donors to discuss the donation process</li>
<li>Update source documentation</li>
<li>Perform collection kit assignment and labeling</li>
<li>Conduct weekly kit inventory reconciliation</li>
<li>Maintain all copy materials (informed Consents, Collection Forms, etc.)</li>
<li>Update donor information within the appointment Calendar and associated spreadsheets</li>
<li>May serve as backup to other Site Operations Associates</li>
<li>Assist with any other departmental projects as needed (including phlebotomy)</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness, safety compliance, and universal precautions in all work practices, remaining compliant to all health, safety and infection control requirements</li>
<li>Follow company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Respect the privacy of the personal information of patients, co-workers, and all individuals with whom the Company interacts</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations</li></ul>

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate&rsquo;s offer letter. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. Location and work hours:

<li>This is an on-site position at our Huntsville, AL campus.</li>
<li>Work hours are Monday &ndash; Friday 7am &ndash; 4pm</li></ul>
