JOB SUMMARY 
The Concrete Delivery Professional is responsible for driving and delivering concrete to industrial, commercial, and residential construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner adhering to DOT and company rules and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Operates and drives a ready mix truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Dolese rules and regulations</li><li>
Demonstrates an understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace and continuously follows all safety rules</li><li>
Performs weekly maintenance, record, and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, and checking and adding fluids as needed</li><li>
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner</li><li>
Visually inspects the consistency of concrete in the mixer</li><li>
Uses water hoses, brushes, and other cleaning supplies to maintain a clean mixer truck</li><li>
Completes and maintains a DOT Daily Log Book</li><li>
Understands and communicates job hazards and directs workers either directly, through two-way radio, or using hand signals</li><li>
Utilizes tools and technology relevant to the role (eTicket, etc.)</li><li>
Exercises good judgment regarding worksite access, unloading, and operation to and from the delivery site</li><li>
Assists maintenance with repairs as needed</li><li>
Maintains a positive attitude around coworkers and customers and acts in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>
Assists in training of coworkers as needed</li><li>
Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location</li><li>
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as assigned</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>
Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL license</li><li>
Must have a clean and safe driving record</li><li>
Ability to maintain an active DOT qualification</li><li>
Ability to perform well in a team environment</li><li>
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision</li><li>
Willingness to work nights, overtime, and weekends as required</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Ability to work up to 16 hours, with a maximum driving time per day of 11 hours and able to work according to DOT Hours of Service Regulations</li><li>
Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 100 lbs. of weight frequently</li><li>
Ability to perform sustained overhead reaching</li><li>
Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels</li><li>
Ability to tolerate working at heights up to 12 feet</li><li>
Ability to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipment</li><li>
Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders</li><li>
Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects</li><li>
Ability to use vibration tools frequently</li><li>
Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions</li><li>
Ability to repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sitting</li><li>
Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces</li></ul>
