We are looking for a highly motivated and detailed oriented individual to join our family as a Manufacturing Technician at our MANASSAS, VA location.The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and flexible to changing work areas as needed.In house paid training will be provided!Job DescriptionManufacturing technicians will be assigned to various positions within the fabrication process based on production requirements. Many opportunities for growth!Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for completing daily production schedules, and following policies and procedures, ensuring the best possible Safety, Quality, and accuracy per manufacturing standards.</li><li>Accurate sorting, and staging glass as required before moving to next area</li><li>Inspect glass after processes for accuracy, or for any error prior to placing it on the finished rack..</li><li>Maintaining daily general maintenance, regular cleaning, and repair of the machine.</li><li>Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and ensure any necessary changes to produce improved results.</li><li>Check machinery daily to ensure proper functionality.</li><li>Ensure that results of the machining process align with company expectations.</li><li>Report all machine actions and abnormalities to the supervisor.</li><li>Maintain a clean, and safe work environment. Ensuring safe disposal of damaged glass, keeping the work area floor, walkway, desks, and surfaces clean and organized.</li><li>Participate in all job functions required, including additional help when needed.</li><li>Regular cleaning and assisting repair of machines as well as general light maintenance.</li><li>Maintain safety procedures.</li><li>High attention to detail.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Skills and Characteristics Wanted:<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 150 pounds assisted</li><li>Work well in a team environment</li><li>Ability to work in a fast pace high demand environment</li><li>Prior experience in glass industry is a plus, but not required.</li></ul>Spanish Speaking is a Plus &ndash; Not required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
