The Opportunity
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by partnering with home service businesses to deliver performance-based customer acquisition solutions. This role combines inbound lead management with outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship building in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Success in this role requires strong business acumen, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to consistently exceed sales goals while delivering measurable value to clients.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Generate new business through inbound leads and outbound prospecting.</li><li>
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce and other sales tools.</li><li>
Conduct discovery, understand customer needs, and present tailored solutions.</li><li>
Communicate eLocal's value proposition and ROI-driven advertising model.</li><li>
Negotiate and close new business while ensuring a smooth customer onboarding experience.</li><li>
Partner with Customer Success to support client retention, growth, and long-term satisfaction.</li><li>
Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM documentation, and sales activity.</li><li>
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and activity goals.</li><li>
Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales, digital marketing, lead generation, advertising, or a related industry.</li><li>
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.</li><li>
Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.</li><li>
Strong prospecting, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills.</li><li>
Ability to build credibility with business owners and decision-makers.</li><li>
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.</li><li>
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
Experience selling digital marketing, lead generation, or performance marketing solutions.</li><li>
Familiarity with home service industries (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Electrical, Restoration, Pest Control, etc.).</li><li>
Competitive, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.</li></ul>
