Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will lead a classroom of preschool-aged children, implementing engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Your expertise in early childhood education will be essential in guiding children through their formative years.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.</li><li>Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.</li><li>Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports childhood development.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.</li><li>Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results.</li><li>Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong background in early childhood education with experience working in preschool settings.</li><li>Proficient in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to young learners.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies.</li><li>Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.</li><li>Ability to provide care for toddlers while promoting their independence and self-confidence.</li><li>Experience in tutoring or providing additional support in literacy and math is beneficial.</li><li>Understanding of child welfare practices within daycare or private school environments.
