We are seeking an English tutor to work with middle and high school students in a structured, in-person setting.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Teach English Language Arts (reading, writing, analysis)</li><li>Support creative and academic writing</li><li>Assist with AP English</li><li>Work with students in 1:1 and small group sessions</li><li>Help students improve standardised (SAT/ACT) test scores.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in English, Literature, History, Education, or a related field, with a strong background in academic writing.</li><li>One of the degrees should be from a US university.</li><li>3+ years of English teaching or tutoring experience</li><li>Strong high school English background</li><li>AP experience preferred</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree and/or classroom teaching experience are a plus</li><li>The capability to teach history would be a plus</li><li>Retired teachers welcome</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Part-time: 10&ndash;20 hours/week</li><li>When the school is in session, anytime between: Weekdays: 4:30&ndash;8:30 PM | Saturdays: 9:00 AM&ndash;5:00 PM</li><li>During school summer breaks: Weekdays: 9:00 - 5:00 PM. Weekends are optional</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
