Patient Population: Medical and general surgical pediatric patients (no post-operative cardiac surgery)</li><li>
No Teaching Requirements: Pure clinical and administrative focus</li></ul></div><div><div>
Advanced Capabilities &amp; Services</div></div><div><ul><li>
Advanced mechanical ventilation strategies</li><li>
Comprehensive procedural services (intubation, central lines, chest tubes, etc.)</li><li>
Pediatric sedation services</li><li>

Staffing Model &amp; Schedule</div><div></div><div>
Program Transition &amp; Growth Opportunity</div><div>
We are transitioning from a contracted physician group to an Endeavor-employed model, with an employed Medical Director staffing the unit M-F daylight. We are looking to round out this staffing model with a team of dedicated pediatric intensivists to provide on-call service nights and weekends.</div><div>
Schedule Structure</div></div><div><ul><li>
Clinical Schedule: To be determined collaboratively with the Medical Director and incoming team</li><li>
On-Call Structure: Night and weekend call from home</li><li>
Flexibility: Input into scheduling model and work-life balance priorities</li></ul></div><div><div>

Pediatric Hospitalists: 24/7 in-house coverage with PICU experience</li><li>
Neonatology: In-house 24/7</li><li>
No APP Coverage: Direct physician-led care model</li></ul></div><div><div>

Preferred: Post-fellowship experience in pediatric critical care, also open to recent graduates of a qualified pediatric critical care fellowship program</li><li>
Preferred: Experience in community PICU settings</li></ul></div><div><div>

Minimum Licensure Requirements</div><ul><li>
Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.</li></ul><div>
Minimum Certification Requirements</div><div><ul><li>
Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)</li><li>
Required: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)</li><li>
Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Board certification/Board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.</li></ul><div></div><div><i>
