<b>Job Summary:
</b><br>
In concert with, and under the direction of the President of EHPN, the Director of Cardiology EHPN/HVA plans, directs, coordinates and provides direct management and oversight of physician practices under ownership or management of EHPN (Englewood Health Physician Network). They shall address and resolve all issues pertaining to practice operations in accordance with established budgets and policies and procedures of EH (Englewood Health). They shall demonstrate visibility and build trust among all EH team members and with physicians; manage and develop human resources of the practices; promote the use of information technology and systems; participate in the EH goals; establish and maintain budgets for practices; implement new clinical and other programs; integrate newly acquired physician practices into EHPN. The Director will play a highly visible role in achieving EH business development strategy by participating in key business development activities. They perform duties under a matrix reporting structure including to EHPN leadership and EH leadership.

</b></p><p><b>Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to manage operations and ensure effective patient care.
</li><li>Knowledge of the principles and practices of health care administration, fiscal management, human resource management, government regulations, compliance requirements and reimbursements.
</li><li>Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
</li><li>Exercises a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion.
</li><li>Ability to analyze situations accurately and taking effective action.
</li><li>Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the medical and administrative staff, patients and the public.
</li><li>Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work; delegates and achieves goals and objectives.
</li><li>Possesses apporpriate judgment and discretion in developing, interpreting, and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
</li><li>Identifies and resolved problems.
</li><li>Develops comprehensive reports.
</li><li>Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
</li><li>Plan, organizes and integrates priorities and deadlines.

</li><li>Identifies, analyzes and interprets complex data and, resolve operational problems.

</li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and appropriate practice management software.<br>

<b>Education Requirements:
</b></p><ul><li>BA or BS Degree required.
</li><li>Master&rsquo;s in Public, Health or Business Administration or related field preferred.
</li><li>Minimum ten (10) years of health care management experience at the senior-management level of physician practices or services.
</li></ul><p>Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
