We may be a newer company by name, but our leadership has dozens of years of experience in therapy operations and clinical excellence for SNF/ALF providers. We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations that is MOTIVATED to work for a company with an EVOLVING culture that provides a POSITIVE work and life balance. A high passion and skill for providing a thriving customer experience to the clients we serve in the Long-Term Care industry. Preferably looking for a candidate well versed in Clinical Reimbursement and Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) in the arena of rehab relating to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathologist disciplines. Multi-site management background is preferred but not required; must be Physical Therapist or Licensed Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Licensed Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist/CCC. Regional Therapy Director Job Summary:
This position provides extensive training, analysis, advice and consultation to the facilities and teams within his/her area of responsibility in the Northeast United States. Monitors, consults, and makes effective recommendations for changes and modifications to existing facility processes, systems, policies, and practices which will assure efficient, effective, and compliant rehab oversight and payment performance.
Regional Therapy Director Job Functions include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
In-depth knowledge of reimbursement methodologies for therapy, specifically PDPM preferred</li><li>
Provides consultation, training, and support for assigned area</li><li>
Analyzes systems and processes to ensure compliance that federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures are followed</li><li>
Works in conjunction with teams to resolve issues, endorse changes and conduct follow-ups to establish that recommendations are effectively implemented and monitored for appropriateness.</li><li>
Promotes compliance by performing periodic audits of assessments, supporting documentation, and other relevant data.</li><li>
Recognizes, advises, and promotes facility best practices and systems</li><li>
Working knowledge of Medicare rules, regulations, billing codes</li><li>
Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations</li><li>
Strong ability to communicate with others, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</li></ul>
Regional Therapy Director Qualifications:<ul><li>
Therapist with completion of degree in from accredited program and licensed in the state of employment</li><li>
Three to five years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting, which includes supervisory, administrative, or consultative capacities</li><li>
MUST HAVE prior multi-site management with a background in clinical processes. training and mentoring</li><li>
Current knowledge of computer technology and systems</li><li>
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance, yet successfully collaborate with teams internally and externally</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of PDPM, Medicare reimbursement, compliance and eligibility</li><li>
Experience with Net Health, Point Click Care documentation systems</li><li>
BASED in Tennessee</li><li>
MUST have an Active Therapy license (PT, OT, SLP, OTA, or PTA)</li></ul>
