</p></div><div><p>Under the direction of the Central Lab Production Manager, the Shift Production Manager directs the lab workflow to ensure quality and production goals while maintaining cleanliness and equipment maintenance standards for each area of the Central Lab: Surfacing, Finishing, and Inspection
</p></div><div><p><b>Specific Duties and Responsibilities</b>
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Ensures that the quality and workmanship of Central Lab eyewear meets the standards set by Eyemart Express
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Manages teams of Optical Lab Technicians, including scheduling, time off requests, and performance evaluations.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>In collaboration with maintenance supervisors on staff, directs lab operators in their assigned maintenance tasks.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain a turnaround time of less than three days on lab orders.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Develops the optical knowledge and leadership skills of their operators and team lead
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Manages the capital lab assets of Eyemart within budgets as assigned by Vice President of Lab Operations
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Orders lab consumables and maintains stock of supplies to adequately support the network requirements within assigned budgets.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Works with equipment vendors from SOM, Satis Loh, MEI and Buhler as onsite technical support for advanced repair of robotic equipment
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>On duty supervision for equipment operators to clear errors, repair machines and support production as needed.
</p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>Requirements</b>
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>5-10 years experience in automated equipment laboratory equipment operation
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>5+ years experience leading production or laboratory teams.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Industry knowledge of the following equipment; CCU, CCP(s), HSC ONE and smart, PRA, CCL, CT-100, 44R, MR3, Easy fit, Swift or comparable automated lab equipment.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>SOM Modulo Experience preferred
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Boxer pro and EBC experience preferred
</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>Background in coating process and technology preferred
</p></li></ul></div><p></p><div><p><b>Skills and Abilities:</b>
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day per scheduled shift)
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to approximately 45 lbs, on rare occasions aid in moving heavy lab equipment
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to operate basic office equipment
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to multi-task
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to identify and solve problems, and facilitate problem solving
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Attention to detail
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Time management skills - ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently when there are multiple tasks to accomplish
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees</p></li></ul></div></div></div></div>
