 Job Summary:
 
 
 
 The Supply Chain Lead manages ERP data, production orders, and purchase orders. This role will maintain and create production schedules according to Customer needs while maximizing effectiveness in all aspects of the Production process. This positions key objectives are:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Balance incoming Sale&rsquo;s orders with existing capacity and backlog
 </li>
 <li>
 Distributes upcoming schedules to the team leads and supervisors
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates with our Production Team to ensure ideal coverage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Places purchase orders for material based on MRP
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages the inventory turns on existing and future inventory items.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Job Duties/Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handle customer inquiries as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and manage production orders to ensure timeline fulfillment of customer orders and stock inventory
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports the development, implementation, and updates the daily and weekly production schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adds incoming sales to Master Production Schedule based on capacity and creates the corresponding job packet
 </li>
 <li>
 Places purchase orders for necessary raw materials and bought finished goods
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide communication to Production team regarding existing orders, challenges, and forecasting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help streamline reporting, production tracking, planning tools, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly results for on-time delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Runs productions jobs and ensures completion to meet departmental needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages the production order process &ndash; ensure timely delivery of job creation and printing
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete closure process for finished production jobs while ensuring test information is filed properly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with accounting to ensure purchase orders and receipt information matches
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete / Close process for finished production jobs while ensuring test information is filed properly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate trade show &amp; demo equipment with Marketing / Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other responsibilities as assigned.

 </ul>
 
 Required Skills/Abilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience with MS Office is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong Organizational insight and problem-solving ability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education and Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with MS Office is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Three years in a Production Planning or other manufacturing support experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a Buy or Procurement role preferred
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical Requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to traverse the production facility.
