OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Join our dynamic global legal team as Legal Counsel and play a pivotal role in shaping Flutter Entertainment's legal strategy across India. Reporting to our Lead Legal Counsel (FEI), you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative legal solutions that drive business growth while ensuring compliance excellence. This role will have the responsibility for providing expert legal advice on all matters in India. The incumbent will work with the Lead Legal Counsel (FEI) to advise on legal aspects related to FEI in relation to commercial contracts, employment law, general legal queries ; ensuring that Flutter always operates within the law; providing pragmatic and commercial legal advice that protects Flutter&rsquo;s reputation, brands, customers, and shareholders; and facilitating the achievement of the Flutter Group's objectives and strategy.
As part of Flutter's diverse, international legal community spanning Dublin, London, Cluj, Porto, Sofia, and Hyderabad, you'll collaborate with talented professionals worldwide to protect and advance our business interests. Working closely with the FEI Leadership Team, you'll serve as a trusted strategic partner, providing support and guidance that balances legal rigor with commercial pragmatism to support Flutter's ambitious growth objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Partner with Lead Legal Counsel and key stakeholders to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice to core stakeholders, including the FEI Leadership Team and corporate functions, on a variety of legal topics that relate to Indian legislation
</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to the FEI Leadership Team and cross-functional partners, translating complex legal concepts into actionable business insights &amp; by providing pragmatic, commercial and strategic advice on labour law matters.
</li><li>Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining a wide variety of contracts including commercial, service, technology, supplier, consultancy, and employment-related agreements.
</li><li>Leading or supporting contract lifecycle management, including renewals, terminations, variations, and enforcement of terms in compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulations .
</li><li>Embedding GDPR, India&rsquo;s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and regulatory compliance into all contractual templates and business practices.
</li><li>Designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
</li><li>Designing and delivering legal training to the business and provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
</li><li>Acting as an enabler and strategic partner by proactively identifying solutions and designing legal strategies in support of business goals and change plans.
</li><li>Applying effective risk management techniques and offering proactive advice on possible legal issues, always mindful of the organisation&rsquo;s risk appetite.
</li><li>Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.
</li><li>Providing clear, concise, pragmatic and commercially viable legal advice in language non-legal colleagues can understand.
</li><li>Staying up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affecting our company.
</li><li>Developing strong and trusted relationships with peers on the Hubs Legal Team, sharing best practice and supporting Flutter group wide collaboration.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a GSOC Operator &ndash; Physical Security to join our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) team in Hyderabad. 
 
You will be directly accountable for the effective and efficient running of the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). The role encompasses analysing, monitoring, and responding to alerts raised by various systems that impact the safety and security of Flutter Entertainment assets, operations &amp; employees as part of an ongoing security monitoring service.
 
 
24/7 monitoring of significant global events via a selection of closed and open-source information feeds and respond to physical security events affecting or threatening Flutter Entertainments physical infrastructure, employees, operations, and assets globally.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
 
 
SKILLS &amp; CAPABILITIES
<ul><li>Day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Centre
</li><li>Serve as the hub for monitoring, analysing and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect Flutter Entertainment
</li><li>Responding to and investigating alerts raised on various security systems.
</li><li>Support in the completion of International travel threat analysis for Flutter Entertainment employees travelling abroad.
</li><li>Early detection of potential issues and assist in identifying new technologies and upgrades for existing systems
</li><li>Ensure procedures and protocols are followed that enable the timely and effective response to incidents
</li><li>Management of, incidents, alarms, notifications, calls and other activities related to the GSOC and its role as a central monitoring station
</li><li>Answer routine and emergency calls by employees globally.
</li></ul>QUALIFICATION &amp; EXPERIENCE
<ul><li>Have a minimum of two (2) years&rsquo; experience working in a Security Operations Centre, Security Communications Centre, Security/Alarm monitoring centre or other closely related operation
</li><li>Have a proven record of accomplishment in customer service
</li><li>Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
</li><li>Can prioritise workload based on urgency and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
</li><li>Have demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools
</li><li>Be able to work independently and be confident in decision-making within Flutter Entertainments defined processes, and during sudden, unanticipated, or unprecedented events or crises
</li><li>Demonstrate and deploy a sound understanding and application of technology and use a variety of technical platforms and systems in a conjoined way to deliver quick and accurate results
</li><li>Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
</li><li>Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various stakeholders.
