 Safety Measures

 Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

 Identifies areas of safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action in accordance with the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

 Administers first aid to passengers where necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Informs Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew and Captain, as appropriate, with any irregularities and malfunctions promptly.

 Customer Service

 Welcomes passengers and assists in their boarding formalities; enters necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per the Airline and Civil Aviation Authority&rsquo;s adopted procedures.

 Provides constant excellent customer services to passengers by attending to their individual pre-bookings, requests and needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with the corresponding policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.

 Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and &ldquo;Charity Cloud&rdquo; program by efficiently promoting the on-board meals, products and charity services and thereby achieves individual and team targets.

 Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received against individual sales and donations managed by him/her.

 Crosschecking And Reports
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment and other specified equipment prior to take off; provides report for any deficiencies to Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty free products are provided before flying.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning and/or maintenance staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carries out the post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures: provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any problems or discrepancies on flight, closing and sealing of duty free containers.
 </li>

 Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers; carries out the duties of &lsquo;Cabin Supervisor&rsquo; when designated as such by the Captain.

 Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops and by ensuring current license.

 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 To conduct assigned flights in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Airline Operational Manual and in compliance with the respective civil aviation authority related regulations. He/she must ensure ultimate safety, security, and efficiency are achieved throughout all operated flights; supports and guides the flight/cabin crew, handle emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios effectively, and takes control over the flight to ensure successful performance and positive corporate image

 Flies the assigned aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with the given schedules and approved flight plans; carries his/her duties and acts as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during the assigned flights taking into account the following key factors, in order of priority:

 Ensures that assigned flights are conducted in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Airline&rsquo;s Operations Manual and regulations. At all times, implements, monitors and maintains the procedures necessary to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the aircraft undertaken.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality of self and Flight Crew for the assigned flights. Conducts pre- flight &ldquo;Briefing&rdquo; to ensure members are acknowledged with flight details; continuously ensures briefing is properly done prior to each action as per the adopted procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaises with co-pilots (First Officer and Second Officer) and Dispatch Team prior to each flight ensuring flight/cabin crew members are well prepared and provided with required information, this includes aircraft technical status, route preferences, weather, fuel, weight, distribution of roles, etc.

 Ensures, within the safety constraints as detailed in the relevant sections of the Airline&rsquo;s Operations Manual, that the aircraft is flown so as to make most efficient and effective use of fuel during the flight.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures the required safety, security, fuel, and transit checks are carried for each flight by the Flight/Cabin assigned crew members before, during and post each flight. Takes necessary action and directs the crew on how to react in case of safety or security irregularities; decides on escalations if needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cooperates with the Maintenance Engineers to confirm the aircraft technical status and ensure its suitability to fly; seeks the support of MCC and MROs to raise possible concerns and identify any defects or technical issues; implements the rectification or corrective measure immediately where applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes sure all the needed documents and technical logs are loaded with necessary accurate data as per the Airline and civil aviation authority regulations and adopted procedures. This includes the technical logbook, journey book, boarding sheets, reports, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures that the Airline Operations Manual is distributed, accounted for, maintained, kept up to date, understood and complied with by Flight Crew.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keeps himself/herself up-to-date with the legal requirements of the different regulatory bodies such as, civil aviation authority, Airbus Company and any other relevant regulatory body relating to flights and Flight Crew.
 </li>

 Undertakes additional, ground based tasks such as Safety Officer or Security Officer, as directed by the line manager and in accordance with the provisions of Part A of the Airline&rsquo;s Operations Manual.

 He/she must pass the Medical Fitness check-up carried for the Pilots as per the Airline and respective civil aviation authority standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Training in safety and emergency response is essential &ndash; a formal qualification is an advantage.

 Basic Airport, security procedures and regulations training is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Crew Resources Management Training is considered an advantage.

 IATA principles &amp; standards relating to security is an advantage.

 Maintain an updated and accurate database of all fleet technical records in accordance with airline&rsquo;s adopted policies and procedures. Preserve, control &amp; archive continuous airworthiness records as per regulatory requirements.
 
 
 
 Key Result Responsibilities

 Monitor and verify the data transmitted from Electronic Tech Log to airline&rsquo;s computerized fleet management system to ensure consistency and conformity; this includes but not limited to: flight hours, flight cycles, fuel uplift/consumption, defects, and any other entries related to maintenance activities on the aircraft.

 <li>
 Coordinating and following up on technical queries from engineering, stores and maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contributes in ensuring each aircraft technical logbook reflects all the corresponding maintenance tasks and activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report all accomplished Service Bulletins to Airbus and OEM&rsquo;s as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partners with Quality Assurance to prepare and communicate a list of all documents needed to arrange for the &ldquo;ARC&rdquo; &ndash; Airworthiness Review Certificates for each aircraft annually; certificates are issued individually in due time set for each aircraft.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports in utilizing available resources and tools to generate a variety of reports with different frequency ensuring all the corresponding information are timely and accurately audited, reviewed and verified prior communicating to the concerned parties to ensure quality and validity of outcome.
 </li>

 Assists in conducting necessary analysis to produce and share accurate reports with Management/ Engineering/Finance /CAA and other parties based on nature/need and in accordance with adopted procedures ensuring security of information. The reports cover but are not limited to: Non-Revenue Flights Report, Utilization Reports, etc.

 Contributes in utilizing the data and reports to highlight trends, abnormalities, hours/cycles of aircraft hard components, etc. to be considered by Management in the decision making process on certain related matters.
