The Job
<ul>
<li>Build world-class SLS materials for 3D printing from initial lab explorations to validation and commercialization</li>
<li>Lead research that pushes the boundaries of SLS material performance, turning discoveries into next-gen solutions.</li>
<li>Partner with product, hardware, and software teams to iterate and improve material performance based on customer feedback</li>
<li>Develop methodologies to evaluate material formulations in coordination with SLS print systems &mdash;balancing material chemistry, thermal dynamics, and printing parameters</li>
</ul>
You
<ul>
<li>Experience bringing a new material to market from ideation to production</li>
<li>Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of materials science and polymer product development</li>
<li>Hands-on experience in thermo-plastic engineering</li>
<li>Passionate about testing and troubleshooting, not afraid to test hundreds of times</li>
<li>Love to harness data; can design and conduct rigorous experiments to optimize materials</li>
<li>Can work autonomously and take initiative to learn new skills to complete an objective</li>
<li>Understand the value of good documentation</li>
<li>B.S., M.S., or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field (all are welcome)</li>
</ul>
Bonus skills:

<li>Experience developing materials for 3D printing, especially for SLA/DLP or SLS printers!</li>
<li>3D CAD modeling</li>
<li>Programming skills (Python, Matlab, SQL, etc)</li>
