Library Paraprofessional- Social Media Specialist-Richmond, TX
<ul><li>Interacts with library patrons via social media in a positive manner; able to handle compliments, complaints and issues in a professional manner.
</li></ul><ul><li>Monitors all FBCL social media pages for accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation and ensure branch libraries are adhering to FBCL branding requirements.
</li></ul><ul><li>Researches audience preferences and discover current trends; Stays current with changes and trends in all social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness; Researches and monitors other libraries social media outlets.
</li></ul><ul><li>Creates engaging text, image and video content; Records, edits and posts videos on a variety of topics.
</li></ul><ul><li>Suggests new ways to attract prospective customers such as promotions and competitions
</li></ul><ul><li>Works with Marketing and Communications Manager to develop an optimal posting schedule; set-up daily tasks and activity for all social media outlets.
</li></ul><ul><li>Designs posts to sustain reader&rsquo;s curiosity and create buzz around library news, programs and services.
</li></ul><ul><li>Measures web traffic and monitors SEO
</li></ul><ul><li>Reports on online reviews and feedback from patrons and social media followers; Delivers monthly reports with statistics and results for each account.
</li></ul><ul><li>Reports directly to Marketing and Communications Manager and collaborates with E-Services Technician and Communications Specialist to ensure a cohesive social media identity.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assists with publicity for library events such as festivals, performances, etc.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
</li></ul>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in related field.
</li></ul><ul><li>One year job related experience.
</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding and working knowledge of multiple social media platforms; excellent written communications skills, with emphasis on proofreading and grammar; in-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics; ability to deliver creative content (text, image, video); familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels; multitasking and analytical skills; video editing and graphic design knowledge; ability to meet deadlines.
</li></ul>SALARY: $25.71-MIN to $38.57-MAX-Hourly

<ul><li>Locates and interviews witnesses, victims, and other persons deemed to be involved in a Human Trafficking criminal investigations; Collects evidence and records; Seizes contraband and arrests violators when necessary.
</li><li>Reviews criminal cases as assigned in determining course of action to be followed.
</li><li>Provides security, including transportation, for victims and witnesses during courtroom appearances and proceedings.
</li><li>Act as Liaison between County Law Enforcement Agencies, service providers and prosecutors.
</li><li>Develop strategy to initiate pro-active, data-informed, sex and labor Trafficking Investigation.
</li><li>Network and represent the FB ATC to external partners.
</li><li>Serves and assists with subpoenas, citations, arrest and search warrants.
</li><li>Assists Chief Investigator and outside law enforcement agencies with criminal case information.
</li><li>Represent the FB ATC at community events as well as lead planning and execution of annual Human Trafficking Awareness Event.
</li><li>Responds to inquiries, resolves, and/or refers to proper person or agency.
</li><li>Act as a liaison between law enforcement agencies, service providers, and prosecutors&rsquo; offices to implement FB ATC policies and procedures.
</li><li>Other duties as assigned by Chief Investigator.
</li></ul>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED.
</li><li>Intermediate TCOLE Certification and Firearm Certification.
</li><li>5 years Investigative experience.
</li><li>Knowledge of TLETS/NLETS, TCIC/NCIC, and JIMS/HPD computer databases.
</li><li>Good computer and typing skills; working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software.
</li><li>Organizational skills and ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.
</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of investigative experience, demonstrating a comprehensive background in handling a diverse array of cases. This should include, but is not limited to, investigations involving robbery, homicide, internet crimes against children, human trafficking, and other complex or high-profile incidents.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $37.29 - $46.62 hourly based on qualifications
