Summary:The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and reconciling inventory across all Fresh Basket branches and warehouses. The role ensures accuracy between physical and system stock, investigates variances, and implements corrective actions to keep discrepancies within defined acceptable limits.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular and surprise audits of inventory at branches and warehouses to verify stock accuracy.Review and analyze daily/weekly variance reports from the ERP (Odoo) and reconcile physical versus system inventory.Investigate causes of discrepancies such as recording errors, shrinkage, damages, or misplacements.Liaise with branch managers, warehouse teams, and the finance department to resolve identified variances promptly.Maintain and enforce acceptable variance thresholds across all operational units.Develop corrective and preventive measures to minimize recurring variances.Prepare detailed variance and audit reports, highlighting key trends and recommendations for management review.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual stock counts and audits.Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements in inventory handling and documentation.Conduct training sessions for branch and warehouse staff to improve stock management practices.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Variance maintained within defined acceptable limits.Timely resolution of discrepancies.Improved system-to-physical stock accuracy.Reduction in repeat variance incidents.Qualifications &amp; Experience:Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.3&ndash;5 years of experience in inventory control, internal audit, or warehouse management (preferably retail/FMCG).Strong knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Odoo preferred).Excellent analytical and reporting skills.Strong communication and coordination abilities.Personal Attributes:Integrity and accountability in all audit and control processes.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Proactive approach with focus on continuous improvement.Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.Department: Operations / Inventory ControlLocation: Fresh Basket Head Office / WarehousesReports To: Head of Operations / Supply Chain ManagerJob Type: Full-timePay: From Rs50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Job Summary:We are seeking an accountant with strong experience in accounts payable and reconciliation, preferably from a retail or FMCG background.
