Job Title: Accountant Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Company: Domus Flower LLC Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleDomus Flower LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, particularly within the FMCG, fresh produce, flowers, supermarket, or hypermarket sectors. Experience working with major retail chains such as Nesto, Lulu, Carrefour, or similar organizations is highly preferred.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, inventory accounting, landed cost calculations, accounts payable processes, and supporting the company's financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.</li><li>Prepare receiving reports and cost factor calculations prior to shipment arrivals.</li><li>Calculate landed costs and support pricing decisions by determining appropriate profit margins.</li><li>Review supplier invoices against purchase orders and identify discrepancies.</li><li>Create, update, and upload inventory transactions into the accounting and inventory management systems.</li><li>Process supplier claims and coordinate approvals with relevant departments.</li><li>Monitor and record all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and related financial transactions.</li><li>Reconcile processed transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances.</li><li>Manage vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of outstanding obligations.</li><li>Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure all invoices and payments are accurately recorded.</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies through vendor account and monthly statement reconciliations.</li><li>Provide cashier coverage when required.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.</li><li>Monitor financial performance, analyze trends and variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of proven experience as an Accountant within Saudi Arabia.</li><li>Mandatory experience in FMCG, fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, supermarket, or hypermarket industries.</li><li>Prior experience with major retail chains such as Nesto, Lulu, Carrefour, or similar organizations is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures.</li><li>Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and landed cost calculations.</li><li>Proficiency in FACT ERP and other accounting software systems.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>How to Apply: Please send your updated CV with a photo .Work Location: In person
