Job Summary:</p></div><p>
The Specialist designs, builds and maintains Epic Cadence scheduling templates, scheduling protocols, specialty diagnosis grids and other scheduling tools for Ambulatory Clinics and Departments. This position plans and executes Epic Cadence modifications to increase operating efficiency, achieve long and short-term goals along with ensuring efficient integration with all Epic applications. The Specialist processes clinical department requests within appropriate time frames and reviews for compliance with Template Guiding Principles and Joint Practice Standards. This position also participates in testing of new enhancements and upgrades, as well as major template changes.

</p></div><p></p><p>A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical operations related to patient scheduling, access and/or clinical systems Epic scheduling systems experience is preferred.</p><p>

</p></div><p>State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required, otherwise must be currently enrolled in a nursing program and able to provide documentation from an accredited school for professional nurses indicating successful completion of the basic nursing course which encompass all of the criteria noted by the State of Wisconsin administrative code and a minimum experience of one acute care nursing medical/surgical clinical rotation. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

The primary function of this position is to staff the 24-hour Security Operations Center (SOC). The SOC handles emergency and non-emergency communications from security staff, hospital staff, law enforcement, visitors, and other emergency services via radio, telephone, computer, email, camera, in-person, or via any other medium. Vital functions of this position include: customer service, multi-line phone management, Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) documentation, and effective, timely communication. Perform other duties as assigned.</p><div><p>
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
</p></div><p>Prior security, dispatcher or other relevant experience or education is required. Computer-aided Dispatch system experience is preferred. Prior dispatch experience in mid-sized department /emergency services, preferred.</p><div><p>
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
</p></div><p>High School diploma or equivalent is required. College is preferred.</p><div><p>
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
</p></div><p>ICS training, TERT certification, IAHSS Certification, HAM radio operator. Training may be site specific.</p><div><p>
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
