This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair</li><li>Handle food preparation and food handling responsibilities according to safety standards</li><li>Operate POS systems such as SQUARE POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling</li><li>Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cashiering and retail math calculations</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food safety and sanitation protocols</li><li>Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns</li><li>Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness</li><li>Support food service operations by serving snacks, baked goods, or light meals as needed</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry with strong coffee experience</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities</li><li>Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment</li><li>Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independence when needed</li><li>Experience in serving customers in caf&eacute; or retail settings is highly desirable</li></ul>Embark on an energizing journey where your enthusiasm fuels great coffee moments!
