To assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Transportation Department by performing necessary administrative duties<b><i>.</i></b> This position reports to Director of Transportation, Facilities and Grounds who evaluates performance annually.</p><p>

Essential Job Functions:</i></b></h2><ul><li>
Receive and process telephone and electronic requests for home pick-up services; record and reschedule pick-ups as needed.</li><li>
Maintain comprehensive logs and records of completed pick-up tickets, drop box activity, material collections (including from agents), store returns, salvage shipments, and storage trailer status.</li><li>
Monitor and update records related to the placement and movement of drop boxes.</li><li>
Enter, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the department.</li><li>
Track and maintain Warehouse inventory and prepare Bills of Lading.</li><li>
Provide administrative support to the Production Department and assist with tasks across Facilities, Maintenance, and Transportation, including tracking and updating departmental time-off calendars.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison for the CTE department regarding donated automobiles.</li><li>
Provide backup coverage for the Administration switchboard as needed.</li><li>

Required Education and Skills:
</i></b></h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent or ability to obtain through The Excel Center.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li><li>

</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.</li><li>

Transports boxes, bins and crates to work areas; distributes items and salvage to appropriate areas; disposes of unsalable items.</li><li>
Responsible to process and price all incoming donations, including wares, books, shoes, furniture, etc.</li><li>
Maintains production levels; documents timely and accurately the number of items/bins processed.</li><li>
Reviews donations for quality; determines which items are routed to specific areas for further distribution.</li><li>
Accepts and receives donations and ensures they are recorded appropriately.</li><li>
Ensures donations area is secured at all times and protect donations from misuse.</li><li>
Operates material handling equipment.</li><li>
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.</li><li>
Observes behavior of customers entering operation; reports suspicious behavior to supervisor or security.</li></ul>

Investigate and resolve complex employee concerns and workplace issues.</li><li>
Support performance management processes and assist in implementing HR policies consistently across the organization.</li><li>
Oversee the completion of background checks and compliance-related processes.</li><li>
Maintain organizational charts and HR materials.</li><li>
Conduct HR data reporting and analysis to inform leadership decisions.</li><li>
