Leads the daily operations of the sales floor at a Retail Store location for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities to help fund the Goodwill mission of ending unemployment. Assists with leading production room as appropriate. Key responsibilities include people leadership, store operations, customer service, financial management, inventory control, donation processing, and training and development of store Team Members. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.</li><li>
Monitors product levels (floor work, as-is, recycle, trash, seasonal back stock) daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.</li><li>
Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.</li><li>
Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.</li><li>
Works to de-escalate customer situations while finding an appropriate solution.</li><li>
Ensures store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.</li><li>
Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.</li><li>
Serves as a Goodwill ambassador to the community.</li><li>
Leads the day-to-day operations of the sales floor.</li><li>
Ensures that Retail Store Associates and Customer Service Manager are well-trained and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.</li><li>
Acts as a key holder for the store, closing shift manager, and backup to the Store Manager.</li><li>
Processes complex sales transactions, including customer returns.</li><li>
Ensures that Team Members are operating per company standards and procedures.</li><li>
Will need to travel to other GCNA locations in order to assist other stores and to attend personal training and development classes.</li><li>
Transfers to different stores at any given moment due to business needs.</li><li>
Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.</li><li>
Builds a high-performing team.</li><li>
Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.</li><li>
Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):<ul><li>
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience</li><li>

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position</li><li>

Position Description: 
Responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up, transport and/or deliver donated goods for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and wearing all required personal protective equipment at all times. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service to donors and other GCNA departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations, processed merchandise and other materials, as directed.</li><li>
Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.</li><li>
Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws.</li><li>
Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.</li><li>

Position Description:
Responsible for processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA), Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay (GSFB), and all affiliated entities, as well as maintaining complete and thorough supporting documentation. This role supports all payroll operations, maintains thorough payroll documentation, and serves as a subject matter expert within the organization. Collaborates closely with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, provides guidance to less experienced Team Members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Prepare and process manual pay, pay cards, and termination payments.</li><li>
Deliver a high level of customer service by professionally handling inbound and outbound employee inquiries.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll matters, including wages, garnishments, payroll taxes, and related inquiries.</li><li>
Resolve employee concerns promptly while ensuring positive and professional employee experience.</li><li>
Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills.</li><li>
Researches and resolves payroll inquiries from Team Members, supervisors, and stakeholders.</li><li>
Review payroll calculations, deductions, and data for accuracy before and after payroll submission.</li><li>
Oversee timesheets, time-off accruals, and payroll reports to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reconciliation and balancing.</li><li>
Maintain accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll while administering the payroll system and ensuring all payroll transactions are properly documented, approved, and compliant with internal controls.</li><li>
Process and maintain detailed records of court-ordered wage deductions, including child support, garnishments, and tax levies.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all manually entered payroll data while ensuring payroll-related reports are organized, accurate, and maintained in established formats for easy accessibility.</li><li>
Coordinate closely with Human Resources and Information Technology to ensure payroll system updates accurately reflect changes related to benefits, accruals, timekeeping, HRIS updates, and tax withholdings.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.</li><li>
Research and respond to payroll-related questions from employees, supervisors, and management, providing clear and timely resolutions.</li><li>
Inform management of payroll issues impacting financial reporting or operational accuracy.</li><li>
Stay current on payroll, tax, and benefits laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.</li><li>
Participate in special projects and assist with additional departmental initiatives as needed.</li><li>
Prepare special reports and complete assigned projects accurately and within established timelines.</li><li>
Maintain regular and reliable in-person attendance.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):<ul><li>
High School diploma or GED required.</li><li>
5 plus years&rsquo; experience processing payroll for 7,000 + employees.</li><li>
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Extensive expertise in payroll regulations and wage and hour compliance requirements.</li><li>
Prior work experience using MS Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>
Experience using payroll and timekeeping related software (i.e. ADP, Workday, etc.).</li><li>
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to speak and read English proficiently.</li><li>
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.</li></ul>
