General Summary
<br><br>
The Safety Manager is to serve as the Project Safety Manager for operations at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This role is responsible for administering and managing the Safety and Health Management System, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and driving continuous safety improvement across the assigned location.
<br><br>
Essential Job Accountabilities
<br><br>
Partner with Company team members, owner representatives, clinics, medical/testing facilities to ensure effective working relationships.
<br>Administer and manage compliance with the Company's Safety and Health Management System and Group incident prevention efforts to ensure company safety goals are met.
<br>Advise changes and/or adjust work procedures as required to ensure the safety of affected employees and/or the general public.
<br>Perform inspections, observations and audits to reduce incidents and ensure health and the well-being of our employees.
<br>Conduct and monitor training, regulatory compliance and strategic initiatives in order to ensure knowledge and awareness of Safety and Health Management Systems.
<br>Initiate, coordinate and conduct meetings and training programs to ensure the effective communication of company expectation and safety standards.
<br>Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance and protecting Company interests.
<br>Assist in the development and review of job hazard analysis to ensure successful completion of work through identification of hazards and control measures.
<br>Investigate and communicate near misses, incidents and claims to make certain that Company interests are preserved.
<br>Manage periodic checks to ensure plans, corrective actions and deficiencies are corrected and documented in a timely fashion.

Education
<br><br>
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Occupational Health or related field, preferred or,
<br><br>
Work Experience
<br><br>
Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in construction, aviation, or industrial environments
<br>Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and valid OSHA 30 certification
<br>Proven competency in airfield safety, including knowledge of FAA regulations and airport operations
<br>Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Mine and Safety Professional (CMSP) certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<br><br>
Knowledge of applicable state and federal safety and health regulations
<br>Demonstrate good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
<br>Strong organizational, follow through and time management skills
<br>Ability to work in high production environment and respond swiftly
<br>Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
<br>Motivated self-starter

<b>Base Salary Range:</b><br>
$113,929.00 - $170,892.00
<br>Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.

The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the safe repair and maintenance of equipment found in a high production aggregate production facility. Equipment includes but is not limited to: asphalt plant, cone crushers, jaw crushers, screen decks, material screws, conveyors, pumps, dust collectors, asphalt drums, bins, silos, hoppers; hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical machinery and systems.<div></div><ul><li><div>
Perform safety and mechanical inspections of equipment.</div></li><li><div>
Address any housekeeping issues within the work area.</div></li><li><div>
Performs repairs on machinery and equipment, including but not limited to: changing conveyor belts, repairing bearings, pulleys, idlers, repairing and patching belts, screens and pumps; welding, replacing steel on bins and chutes.</div></li><li><div>
Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment, including but not limited to: screen changes, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.</div></li><li><div>
