Housekeeper / Room AttendantProperty: Hampton Inn Concord Location: Concord, CA Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor Employment type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hourPosition SummaryThe Housekeeper (Room Attendant) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to Hilton and Hampton brand standards, ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. This role is central to our guest satisfaction scores and the overall reputation of the hotel.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.</li><li>Replenish room amenities, towels, and supplies according to brand standards.</li><li>Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, lighting, appliances) and report them promptly.</li><li>Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobby, elevators, fitness room, and breakfast area as assigned.</li><li>Restock and organize housekeeping carts and supply closets.</li><li>Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, escalating to a supervisor when needed.</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.</li><li>Report lost-and-found items per hotel policy.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy and security at all times.</li><li>Meet daily room-cleaning quotas while upholding quality standards.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States. Eligibility will be confirmed with E-Verify.</li><li>Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.</li><li>Basic English communication skills sufficient to understand instructions and assist guests.</li><li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as business needs require.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 25&ndash;50 lbs and push/pull housekeeping carts.</li><li>Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Typical shifts run during daytime hours; weekend and holiday availability required.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>$18.00 per hour</li><li>Benefits: paid sick leave, employee travel discounts through the Hilton brand, etc.</li><li>A supportive team environment and opportunities for growth</li></ul>Hampton Inn Concord is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
