Role Overview
This role owns SEO end-to-end&mdash;from strategy and execution to client communication and performance presentations. The ideal candidate can confidently explain SEO results, defend strategy with data, and act as a trusted advisor to U.S. legal clients.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead SEO strategy and execution for U.S. law firms (PI, family law, criminal defense, corporate law).</li><li>
Manage client communication, including regular performance reviews, insights, and recommendations.</li><li>
Present SEO performance using a clear, data-driven approach, translating metrics into business impact (leads, consultations, ROI).</li><li>
Drive local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and Map Pack rankings.</li><li>
Improve rankings for competitive high-intent legal keywords.</li><li>
Oversee on-page, technical SEO, and schema implementation.</li><li>
Guide content optimization aligned with E-E-A-T standards.</li><li>
Plan and execute ethical link-building and authority growth.</li><li>
Collaborate with content, development, and U.S. stakeholders to meet client goals.</li><li>
Track and report performance using GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush.</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
5+ years of SEO experience, with proven success in U.S. law firm SEO.</li><li>
Strong experience in local SEO, practice-area rankings, and lead generation.</li><li>
Excellent client communication and presentation skills.</li><li>
Advanced hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and expectations independently.</li></ul>
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience handling multi-location law firm clients.</li><li>
Familiarity with call tracking, form tracking, and legal CRM tools.</li><li>
Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) for legal websites.</li><li>
Experience mentoring junior SEO resources.</li></ul>
