Start Date: 8/3/2026 End Date: 5/28/2027; Temporary Part Time No Benefits
19 hours or less per week 
General Definition of Work: 
Provide instruction to students in small groups and individually 
Qualification Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum of 48 hours of college level coursework</li><li>
Teaching licensure (Current or Expired) to receive higher rate of pay</li><li>
Minimum of three years&rsquo; experience as a classroom teacher is preferred</li><li>
Demonstrated knowledge of research-based, current curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.</li></ul> 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>
General Knowledge of daily routines of the classroom.</li><li>
General knowledge of student handbook rules.</li><li>
General knowledge of procedures to follow in the event of an emergency.</li><li>
General knowledge of the curriculum for the grade.</li><li>
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.</li><li>
Ability to constantly monitor the safety and well-being of students, particularly when student is participating in an inclusive activity.</li><li>
Ability to motivate students.</li><li>
Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment.</li><li>
Ability to operate common office machines.</li><li>
Ability to maintain basic files and records.</li><li>
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments.</li></ul> 
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Develop and implement high-quality tutoring experiences for students that include assessing students&rsquo; individual needs, providing individual and small group instruction to students based on those needs, and supporting the use of digital tools during tutoring sessions.</li><li>
Collaborate with classroom teachers to determine specific student needs.</li><li>
Communicate and collaborate with the staff about student progress.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements: 
Due to amount of time spent standing and/or walking, physical requirements are consistent with those for Light Work.
