Position Summary

The Floor Houseperson plays a key support role within the Housekeeping team by ensuring Guest Room Attendants are fully supplied and assisted throughout the day. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and well‑stocked hallways, guest floors, and service areas, while also assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties as needed to support overall resort operations.

Essential Job Functions

Floor &amp; Public Area Support
<ul>
<li>Maintain cleanliness of guest hallway entrances and elevator areas through regular vacuuming and upkeep</li>
<li>Clean, sweep, and mop stair landings and hallway floors</li>
<li>Dust hallway credenzas and ensure newspapers are neatly stocked</li>
<li>Clean and maintain vending areas</li>
<li>Pick up trash and soiled linens from halls and dispose of them properly</li>
<li>Strip spoiled or soiled linens from guest rooms after checkout when needed</li>
</ul>
Housekeeping &amp; Laundry Support
<ul>
<li>Keep store rooms clean, organized, and well stocked</li>
<li>Ensure guest room glassware and coffee mugs are washed and stocked in housekeeping closets</li>
<li>Assist with laundry services as needed</li>
<li>Notify supervisors of supply shortages or inventory needs</li>
<li>Check vacuum cleaners twice weekly and replace bags as needed</li>
<li>Perform housekeeping duties as needed to support daily operations</li>
</ul>

<li>Maintain a clean, professional appearance and proper uniform at all times</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li>
<li>Available to work weekends and holidays</li>
<li>Working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies</li>
<li>Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift</li>

Physical Requirements

<li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods</li>
<li>Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift items as required</li>

Required<ul><li>
Experience working independently while supporting a team in a physically active role, managing multiple tasks, following safety standards, and adapting to changing priorities in hospitality or service settings.</li><li>
Hands‑on experience using commercial cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, carts), maintaining cleanliness standards, managing linens, and ensuring public and service areas remain organized and presentable.</li><li>
Experience assisting housekeeping teams with daily operations, including maintaining clean guest hallways, public areas, supply rooms, and supporting Guest Room Attendants as needed.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">

<div>Facilities Maintenance Engineer - ON CALL

Role Summary

The Engineer on Duty is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the resort. This role serves as a frontline responder, providing timely technical support to guest rooms, public areas, and internal departments. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Maintenance &amp; Repairs: Perform general maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic mechanical repairs.</li>
<li>Emergency Response: Monitor life safety systems and respond to alarms and emergencies to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.</li>
<li>System Monitoring: Inspect and read meters, gauges, and equipment; maintain accurate logs of work performed and system activity.</li>
<li>Energy Management: Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.</li>
<li>Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and proactively address potential hazards to maintain a safe work environment.</li>
<li>Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition; ensure engineering areas remain clean and organized.</li>
<li>Operational Support: Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned to support resort operations.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications

Technical Skills:
<ul>
<li>Experience in at least three of the following: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or kitchen equipment</li>
<li>Experience with pneumatic or electronic control systems preferred</li>
<li>General building maintenance and finishing skills (including painting)</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Valid Texas driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English</li>
<li>Professional appearance consistent with resort standards</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, and use stairs for extended periods</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally</li>
</ul>
