Primary Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including:<ul><li>
Central air conditioning systems</li><li>
Heat pumps</li><li>
Furnaces</li><li>
Ductless mini-split systems</li></ul></li><li>
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and longevity.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and diagnose heating and cooling issues accurately and efficiently.</li><li>
Ensure all work complies with:<ul><li>
Local building codes</li><li>
Company standards</li><li>
Safety regulations</li><li>
EPA 608 requirements</li></ul></li><li>
Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, materials used, and labor performed.</li><li>
Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.</li><li>

Participate in training opportunities to stay current with industry standards and technology.</li><li>

Minimum of 2years of hands-on residential HVAC experience required.</li><li>
High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>
EPA 608 Certification required (Type II or Universal preferred).</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.</li><li>
Experience servicing and repairing residential heating and cooling equipment.</li><li>
Familiarity with modern HVAC diagnostic tools and mobile work order systems.</li><li>
Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, and speak English.</li><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.</li><li>
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li><li>

Position Summary</b></h2><div>
The Licensed HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, startup, testing, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in all phases of residential HVAC installation while maintaining compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes.</div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related equipment.</li><li>
Perform rough-in, trim-out, startup, and final HVAC installations according to project schedules.</li><li>
Read and interpret blueprints, HVAC layouts, specifications, and construction documents.</li><li>
Install and test refrigerant lines, condensate drains, ventilation systems, and ductwork.</li><li>
Conduct equipment startup, system balancing, and performance testing to ensure proper operation.</li><li>
Troubleshoot installation issues and perform corrective work as needed.</li><li>
Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and federal building codes, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards.</li><li>
Coordinate work activities with project managers, superintendents, builders, inspectors, and other trades.</li><li>
Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>
Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies at all times.</li><li>
Maintain clean and organized work areas.</li><li>
