<p>
The Clinical Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of clinical operations and assists with the supervision of non-physician clinical staff in collaboration with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Clinical Manager (if applicable). This role helps ensure efficient clinical workflows, high-quality patient care, and a positive patient and team member experience.</p>
<p>
The Clinical Coordinator serves as a clinical resource for staff, supports onboarding and training initiatives, and assists with operational processes that promote patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and effective center operations.</p>
<p>
This role works in close collaboration with the Program Director and hospital partner leadership to support clinical operations.</p>
<p><b>
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of clinical operations to support efficient patient flow and high quality patient care</li>
<li>Provide direct oversight and support to non-physician clinical staff in coordination with the Program Director and hospital partner leadership</li>
<li>Coordinate clinical staff scheduling and staffing coverage to maintain appropriate operational support for the center</li>
<li>In collaboration with the Program Director and hospital partner leadership, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of clinical staff</li>
<li>Provide initial and on-going training and education for clinical staff</li>
<li>In coordination with other members of Intuitive and Hospital leadership, participate in community outreach</li>
<li>In coordination and at direction of the Hospital, assist Hospital with staff evaluations, following the process of the Hospital in accordance with the Hospital&rsquo;s timeline and tools</li>
<li>Utilize resources from Intuitive and Hospital, to support patient satisfaction for site</li>
<li>Provide ongoing leadership training and mentoring to clinical staff</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and other clinical managers, as applicable, to implement quality assurance and performance improvement process</li>
<li>Provide quarterly reporting on performance measures applicable to the site</li>
<li>Serve as cultural champion for non-physician clinical employees</li>
<li>Participate in regulatory and accreditation preparedness and survey process</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Hospital Policies, procedures, and processes, and requirements of regulatory, licensing, and accreditation activities</li>
<li>Support management of the customer service experience and relations at the sites in coordination with the Medical Director and Program Director</li>
<li>Provide patients and their family with a customer focused, friendly, reassuring and open environment that encourages patient participation in health care decisions.</li>
<li>Encourage a work environment that is friendly and respectful.</li>
<li>Assure a clean work environment. This may include duties often reserved for housekeeping services such as emptying trash, mopping floors and cleaning counters.</li>

<ul>
<li>The Patient Access Advocate is responsible for greeting patients with a smile, answering the phone, entering information into the electronic health record, data base, and general clerical duties. In this position it is imperative you are able to consistently maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor and make patients always feel welcome. Ability to multi-task is a must.</li>
<li>The Patient Access Advocate performs registration functions, including updating of demographics, insurance verification, collection of point of service payments and documentation of registration information within an electronic system. The Patient Access Advocate will confirm account being registered has accurate information to ensure clean billing. The Patient Access Advocate will also perform visit closure activities including collecting payment, and any needed follow up activities required.</li>
<li>The Patient Access Advocate provides the highest level of customer service to patients/family at time of service through registration interactions as well as providing wayfinding to patients and/or visitors.</li>
<li>Greet patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner in both in person and over the phone.</li>
<li>Check patients in and out.</li>
<li>Perform visit closure activities to include collecting payment, and any follow up activities that may be necessary for patient care.</li>
<li>Verify insurance for eligibility and benefits using online electronic verification system or by contacting payer directly. Collect copayments, coinsurance, deductibles.</li>
<li>Assist staff and patients with clerical duties as needed, including: copying, scanning and faxing documents.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining patient files.</li>
<li>Answer and screen phone calls and direct to the appropriate individual. Take and direct messages as necessary.</li>
<li>Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.</li>
<li>Confirm all paperwork is filled out correctly.</li>
<li>Make sure front desk, waiting room area and children&rsquo;s play are always clean and presentable.</li>
<li>Assure a clean work environment. This may include duties often reserved for housekeeping services such as emptying trash, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning counters.</li>
