 The Role:
 
 
 
 JCDecaux is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant who will report to VP, Materials Management and will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and move products, as well as performing various other duties to maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
 
 
 This is a full-time position based in our Maspeth warehouse.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stack products in accordance with company standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the team with general warehouse tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager or supervisor
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by correctly labeling and documenting all products moved or stored
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in regular stock counts and audits as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift, reporting any issues to the supervisor
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in organizing and rearranging stock as needed for optimal space utilization
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications &amp; Requirements
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 At least three years of experience in warehouse, stockroom or inventory control position required
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid forklift operator certification/license is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to [weight limit] pounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills, both verbal and written
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation purposes
