<p>
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center provides health care services to pediatric patients up to the age of 21 years old in a combined pediatric emergency room and inpatient unit as well as providing coverage in the Newborn Nursery, all while under the direction and responsibility of a physician.</p>
<p>
The APP will need to be adaptable and work collaboratively with the physician to provide comprehensive care to a pediatric patient population that may have complex psycho-social needs, non-English speaking and/or low-income patients/families requiring extra support and education. The Pediatric Center has 5 ED rooms, 1 trauma room and 9 inpatient rooms.</p>
<p>
Providers conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative care, assist in trauma and critical care, and write prescriptions as needed.</p>

The Communications Manager for Johns Hopkins Medicine drives the development and execution of strategic public relations and media-focused communications programs that advance institutional and external objectives. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor media strategies and PR initiatives that raise the profile of Johns Hopkins Medicine, inform and engage employees and faculty, and support key institutional goals. You will identify and pilot innovative media approaches, including earned, owned, and social channels, and develop systems and process improvements to increase reach, message clarity, media readiness, and crisis preparedness across JHM.</p>

In this dynamic position, you will support our <b>provider clinic, onsite lab, and busy infusion center</b>, helping ensure seamless, compassionate care for our oncology patients.</p>
<p>This role requires strong <b>phlebotomy</b> and <b>IV insertion</b> skills, as you will regularly draw labs, start IVs, and prepare patients for treatment.
