Purpose of Role:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic <b>Account Manager</b> to join our growing team. In this role, you will own and develop key client relationships across a defined portfolio of top UK automotive retail accounts. You&rsquo;ll sit at the heart of a cross-functional &ldquo;pod&rdquo; that includes sales, professional services, and customer success&mdash;acting as the strategic lead and advocate for your customers.</div><div></div><div><br>
You will be responsible for ensuring the retention and growth of your accounts, building long-term partnerships, driving client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expansion within your portfolio.</div><div></div><div><br>

<div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li><b>
Own the Relationship:</b> Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio of clients, building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.</li><li><b>
Drive Retention and Growth:</b> Lead initiatives to retain clients and expand revenue opportunities with the sales executive on the accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies.</li><li><b>
Lead the Pod: </b>Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, professional services, customer success) to deliver cohesive account strategies and ensure aligned execution.</li><li><b>
Strategic Planning: </b>Develop and maintain strategic account plans, identifying client goals, risks, opportunities, and business outcomes.</li><li><b>
Customer Advocacy: </b>Represent the voice of the customer internally, ensuring that product development, support, and service delivery align with client needs.</li><li><b>
Performance Monitoring:</b> Track account health and performance, using data and insights to proactively address challenges and improve both adoption and satisfaction.</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>
<div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills/Knowledge &amp; Experience:</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>
Proven experience in <b>account management</b>, preferably within the SaaS or software sector.</li><li>
Strong understanding of <b>B2B technology sales</b> cycles; experience in <b>automotive retail</b> is a bonus but not mandatory.</li><li>
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with a consultative and <b>customer-centric approach</b>.</li><li>
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships across complex environments.</li><li>
Comfortable with commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and revenue accountability.</li><li>
Strategic thinker with a <b>results-driven mindset</b> and the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.</li><li>
Willingness to travel as needed across the UK.</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>
