 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
 
 
 
 -The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing our entire supply chain from the point of acquisition to delivery, as well as managing our inventory and warehousing. In this position, you will ensure timely and accurate product delivery, while also developing and executing strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

 DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handle inbound, outbound and transshipment and prepares invoices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage inventory control, replenishing stock control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise and coordinate with overseas vendors/customers, freight forwarders, carriers on delivery dates and pick-ups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and follow-up with suppliers/customers to ensure on-time and accurate shipping document submission.
 </li>
 <li>
 To prepare a final invoice to the customer and coordinate with the Finance department for payment / SOA updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring Supplier and Vendor Invoices are in line with Sales and company agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor claims from customers and align with Sales and Finance to issue credit notes to the customer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination with the logistics for claims that may arise during cargo inbound and request relevant credit notes from suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Closing of shipment folders by checking if all documents are complete (TOW, Cargo Release order, BOE, BL) to be submitted with finance.
 </li>

 WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in handling Africa region.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience as logistics executive.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) and advanced excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with SAP systems will be an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional time management &amp; excellent communication skills, both verbal &amp; written.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional manner and strong ethical code.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Proactively identify, target, and approach potential new clients in relevant industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and digital outreach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Present and promote the company's engineering solutions to prospective clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand client needs and propose tailored technical solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build a robust sales pipeline and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand presence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide market feedback to help shape product/service offerings and sales strategies.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in an engineering, Construction, or technical environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of successful new client acquisition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tracking.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience selling to Construction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical background or understanding of engineering solutions/products.
 </li>
