<div>The Portables Driver is responsible for servicing assigned route(s) with the servicing of portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and other equipment within the Portables Division. The driver represents the company in a safe and respectable manner while servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day and communicating regularly with dispatchers and supervisors.

Portables Driver- Chauffeur License

<div>The Dispatcher coordinates the allocation and scheduling of drivers, trucks, and containers to optimize capacity, streamline operations, and support customer service goals. Supports route planning, real-time adjustments, and operational efficiency&mdash;leveraging tools and data analysis to uphold performance and service metrics.

Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>
Assign and adjust driver routes daily to maximize route standardization and productivity.</li><li>
Utilize routing platforms to manage same-day changes and next-day planning.</li><li>
Sequence efficient routes and support dynamic route strategy in response to demand and capacity needs.</li><li>
Maintain constant communication with drivers, Operations leadership, dispatch teams, and customers during route execution.</li><li>
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve en route issues to prevent service interruptions.</li><li>
Collect, interpret, and verify logistics and routing data to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.</li><li>
Close routes and input completed service data using digital tools or dispatch systems.</li><li>
Review disposal and service capacity plans to identify optimal load destinations.</li><li>
Work with operations leadership to evaluate swing route opportunities and balance high-demand service loads.</li><li>
Manage service tickets, driver logs, communications, and routing paperwork.</li><li>
Handle incoming requests from customer service, sales, or field staff efficiently.</li></ul>
Scope of Responsibility:
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily routing and resource allocation to ensure efficient, on-time service delivery. This role manages driver assignments, route optimization, and real-time operational adjustments to maximize capacity and productivity while supporting customer service objectives. The Dispatcher serves as a central communication hub between drivers, operations leadership, customer service, and field teams, proactively troubleshooting issues to prevent service disruptions. By leveraging routing systems, logistics data, and performance metrics, the role drives operational efficiency, maintains accurate service documentation, and supports continuous improvement within a fast-paced transportation environment.
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<ul><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required; CDL (Class A) preferred.</li><li>
Experience operating yard tractors, hostlers, or spotter trucks.</li><li>
Knowledge of trailer handling, coupling/uncoupling, and yard safety best practices.</li><li>
Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>

Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>

Minimum 6 months dispatch or logistics experience preferred; Minimum 2 years preferred for complex operational environments.</li><li>
Prior experience in waste management, transportation, or customer service environments is beneficial.</li></ul>

Dispatcher

<div>The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day. The driver will collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch.
Reports To
Operations Supervisor 
<ul><li>
Provide, replace and remove roll-off containers and compactors for customers and dump materials at a disposal site or recycling center.</li><li>
Complete work assignments in a safe and efficient manner to avoid damage and accidents whenever possible.</li><li>
Operates vehicle in accordance with Lakeshore Waste Services safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.</li><li>
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)</li><li>

Roll Off Driver - CDL

<div>The Commercial Drivers are responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks with front or rear end load lift attachment. Drivers are responsible for providing the pickup service of containers filled with waste or recyclable materials. Containers may weigh in excess of 1000 pounds and at times require drivers to maneuver wheeled containers to a pickup stage area. Driver will transport the material to a disposal, transfer, or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity. This role navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.

<div>The Swing driver is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day. The Swing driver collects and hauls waste, recycling materials or containers to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch. This position may perform as Container, Commercial, Roll Off or Residential Driver as needed.
