Job Summary

The Senior Project Controls Analyst is responsible for supporting analytical and project controls throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and contractual requirements. This position monitors project progress, investigates cost and schedule variances, assesses financial risk, and identifies opportunities to improve project performance.

Working closely with Preconstruction, Operations, Project Management, and Finance, the Senior Project Control Analyst evaluates financial outcomes, enforces project control standards, and supports change order management. This role also facilitates budget reviews, cost forecasting, and process optimization initiatives to enhance project efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Maintain a complete understanding of all contract requirements, including scope, design, schedule, change orders, and notice requirements.</li>
<li>Identify, assess, and communicate financial risks related to cash collections, subcontract buyouts, material purchasing, labor requirements, and schedule constraints by thoroughly reviewing contracts.</li>
<li>Lead project budget review meetings to ensure alignment with execution strategy and financial objectives.</li>
<li>Monitor and forecast project costs, providing cost-at-completion projections to minimize costs and maximize profitability.</li>
<li>Investigate budget vs. actual job cost variances, determine root causes, communicate findings with stakeholders, and implement corrective actions.</li>
<li>Analyze project schedules and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.</li>
<li>Identify, track, and manage owner change order opportunities to optimize financial outcomes.</li>
<li>Facilitate project review and close-out meetings with senior management, ensuring lessons learned are documented and applied to future projects.</li>
<li>Lead process and workflow optimization initiatives</li>
<li>Collaborate with the finance team to support the annual financial audit process.</li>
<li>Support accounts receivable in collecting outstanding project-related payments.</li>
<li>Enforce consistent compliance with company project control principles and standards.</li>
<li>Provide mentorship and training to junior project control team members, fostering their professional growth.</li>
<li>Conduct training sessions for project execution teams on project control principles, best practices, and company standards.</li>

</ul>
Qualifications and KSA

Education:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>3 to 7 years of experience in construction project controls, cost management, or scheduling.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and communicate effectively across business disciplines.</li>
<li>Experience developing and/or refining relevant systems, reports, and policies and procedures.</li>
</ul>
Certifications/Licenses:
<ul>
<li>Project Management Professional (PMP) or AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is preferred but not required.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Experience with scheduling and project management software (Microsoft Project and Procore preferred).</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of standard project management practices, including project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and risk management.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for presenting data and collaborating with stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and contribute strategically to the company's long-term success.</li>
<li>Deadline-oriented, highly organized self-starter with the ability to move projects forward independently.</li>

Senior Project Controls Analyst

The position of Welder performs tasks related to the steel phase of construction safely, efficiently, and to Landmark's quality standards.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>SMAW flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions</li>
<li>GTAW</li>
<li>MCAW</li>
<li>GMAW</li>
<li>FCAW gas shielded and self-shielded wire flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions</li>
<li>Experience welding FCAW on ceramic backer.</li>
<li>Experience reading WPS</li>
<li>Experience welding and passing X Rays on 1 \&quot; thick plate (AWWA D100 D107 D1.1) codes</li>
<li>Arc gouge flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions</li>
<li>Oxy/acetylene or oxy/propylene torch work</li>
<li>Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints</li>
<li>Working at heights up to 200'</li>
<li>A strong safety knowledge/safety culture</li>
</ul>
Non-Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Layout, erect, dismantle, and load tank jig, scaffolding, and other miscellaneous steel structures</li>
<li>Layout, secure, brace, and pin steel plate, including cone, vertical, shell, ring beam, access tube, and other associated steel tank structures and appurtenances</li>
<li>Rigging knowledge</li>
<li>Signaling of cranes and other heavy construction equipment</li>
<li>Safe operation of construction tools and equipment</li>
<li>Understanding of various piping and valve installations</li>
<li>Installation of various hardware, vents, hatches, and specialty items</li>

<li>Operation of hydraulic tank hoisting equipment</li>

The position of Field Quality Technician will assist the Director of Quality Assurance &amp; Control with the development, oversight, training, and operational administration of quality policies, procedures, and work practices of the Landmark Quality Management System. 

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Support activities and implementation of Landmark&rsquo;s Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance &amp; Control (QAC) systems.</li>
<li>Assess the Landmark QAC system, reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness of respective policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure that quality issues are routinely discussed by all levels of management.</li>
<li>Prepare reports as required.</li>
<li>Develop/conduct audits to ensure compliance with Landmark QAC and EHS systems.</li>
<li>Provide program administration to ensure all aspects of the project produce a quality result.</li>
<li>Develop/perform quality-focused training for employees and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Conduct periodic quality and safety inspections of worksites to identify and correct poor quality results or unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, and document relevant results.</li>
<li>Investigate, assess, and document non-conformances and quality deficiencies.</li>
<li>Ensure that quality assessments are completed throughout each project and provide crews with the necessary tools and training to safely perform work meeting Landmark&rsquo;s standard of quality.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of current industry quality issues, trends, regulatory changes, etc.</li></ul> 


Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Receiving and acting on QAC management guidance with respect to overall quality objectives.</li>
<li>Daily work is generally self-directed and independent of others.</li>
<li>Role operates within QAC &amp; EHS policy guidelines and requires independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.</li>
<li>Role actively supports initiatives of the Landmark QAC system including Concrete Services.</li></ul> 


Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a field related to the essential functions of this position or an industry-specific certification and minimum of three (3) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.</li>
<li>Experience in the development and maintenance of quality management processes in concrete construction or related environment.</li>
<li>Exposure to concrete construction and/or concrete manufacturing environments with respect to quality system functions.</li>
<li>Professional certification and training in an industry affiliated organization is preferred.</li></ul>
