The Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Shadow Teacher to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure the effective implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and foster an environment that promotes learning, development, and inclusion.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide individualized classroom support to students with special needs.</li><li>Assist students in completing academic tasks, ensuring understanding and engagement.</li><li>Implement and adapt IEPs according to each student's unique learning profile.</li><li>Support the development of students' social, emotional, and communication skills.</li><li>Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.</li><li>Monitor, document, and report on student progress, including behavioral and academic data.</li><li>Participate in parent-teacher meetings, team planning sessions, and case conferences.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding student development and challenges.</li><li>Stay current with best practices, research, and strategies in special education.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree/Diploma in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs in an educational setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and evidence-based interventions.</li><li>Experience with IEP implementation and progress monitoring.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.</li><li>Patient, empathetic, and committed to fostering student success.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting physical activity, inclusion, and overall well-being among individuals with disabilities through evidence-based and creative teaching approaches.Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or certification in Physical Education, Adaptive Physical Activity, Sports Coaching, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities in educational, therapeutic, or community-based settings.</li><li>Strong understanding of adaptive physical education principles and inclusive coaching methods.</li><li>Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and teamwork skills.</li></ul>&middot; Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive physical education lessons and sports activities tailored to meet diverse physical, intellectual, and sensory needs.&middot; Adapt sports techniques, rules, and equipment to ensure safe and meaningful participation for all learners.&middot; Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and personal growth.&middot; Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to support individual development plans and holistic progress.&middot; Assess, monitor, and document students&rsquo; performance, setting realistic and measurable goals for improvement.Job Type: Full-time
