Summary</h2>
The Laboratory Assistant II is responsible for performing various clinical, clerical, and financial job duties assigned within the scope of laboratory services. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distribution of reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines and printers, in additional to basic computer skills in the laboratory and hospital information systems. Financial duties include insurance verification, reviewing patient accounts for proper diagnosis coding, and providing necessary forms (ex.
