 1. Purpose of the Role
 
 
 To lead the design, coordination, and delivery of plumbing and fire protection systems for construction projects, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality engineering solutions aligned with project requirements and international standards.
 
 
 
 2. Key Responsibilities
 
 
 A. Plumbing System Design
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead design of domestic water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, and irrigation systems.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection (pumps, tanks, heaters, etc.).
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare design layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 B. Fire Protection System Design
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design firefighting systems including sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire hose reels, and fire pumps.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing as per
 
 NFPA standards
 
 .
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for fire protection systems.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 C. Design Coordination
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper integration of plumbing and firefighting systems within building design.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM tools.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 D. Codes &amp; Compliance
 
 
 <ul>

 Ensure compliance with
 
 Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)

 NFPA
 
 , and local authority regulations.

 Prepare and review design submissions for authority approvals.
 
 </li>

 Liaise with civil defense and relevant authorities when required.

 E. Technical Review

 Review and approve shop drawings, material submittal, and method statements.
 
 </li>

 Respond to RFIs and provide technical clarifications.
 
 </li>

 Participate in design reviews and value engineering initiatives.

 F. Construction Support

 Provide technical support during the construction phase.
 
 </li>

 Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved design.

 Support testing &amp; commissioning of plumbing and firefighting systems.

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

 UPDA/MMUP Certification (mandatory / preferred as per company requirement)

 <li>
 10&ndash;12 years of experience in plumbing &amp; fire protection design within construction projects
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience in
 
 consultancy or contractor design environment
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Technical Skills

 Expertise in plumbing and firefighting system design
 
 </li>

 Strong knowledge of
 
 NFPA codes

 Job Summary:
 
 
 We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Controller with strong experience in the F&amp;B sector to manage and monitor costs, ensure accurate inventory control, and support financial efficiency across operations. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Qatar&rsquo;s market, supplier network, and cost structures within the food and beverage industry.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>

 Monitor and control food &amp; beverage costs in line with budget targets
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular stock audits, inventory checks, and variance analysis
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse daily consumption, wastage, and stock movement
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare cost reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and highlight discrepancies
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Review purchase orders, invoices, and supplier pricing for accuracy
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with procurement and kitchen teams to optimize cost efficiency
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion control measures
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Support menu engineering and pricing strategies based on cost analysis
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

 Minimum 4&ndash;5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in F&amp;B sector in Qatar

 Strong knowledge of inventory systems and cost control procedures
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of local supplier market and pricing trends in Qatar
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 
 </li>

 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
