<p><b>JOB FUNCTIONS</b></p>

<li>Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process</li>
<li>Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols</li>
<li>Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies</li>

<ul><li>Minimum, one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position, Required</li>

<ul><li>Non CDL drivers can be 18 or older</li>
<li>CDL drivers are required to be 21 or older</li>
<li>Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing</li>
<li>Must maintain a valid D/L for appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed</li>
<li>Convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees</li>
<li>Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork</li>
<li>Critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert</li>
<li>Strong customer service</li>
<li>Basic computer knowledge</li>
<li>Must lift 50+ pounds by oneself</li>
<li>Must lift excess of 50lbs with mechanical or employee assistance</li>

</ul></li></ul><div><b>JOB FUNCTIONS</b></div>
<ul><li>Provides patient education as an intricate part of the patient care activity according to the patient need and Lincare policy, frequently in patients' homes
<ul><li>Requires use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license</li>
</ul></li><li>Performs complete and professional patient assessments in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures</li>
<li>Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts</li>
<li>Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety &amp; Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA, and Emergency Planning</li>
<li>Represents Lincare through professional personal appearance, patient care activities, and content of written reports</li>
<li>Facilitates prescription collection</li>
<li>Maintains patient records in complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards</li>
<li>Works on-call evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
<ul><li>Frequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibility</li>
<li>Must respond in a timely manner</li>
</ul></li></ul>Requirements:
<div><b>Work Experience</b></div>
<ul><li>Level 1 - Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting, or other patient care, Required</li>
<li>Level 2 - Minimum of two years in home healthcare, Required</li>
<li>Level 3 - Minimum of three years in home healthcare
<ul><li>May be involved in training of other Healthcare Specialists, Required</li>
</ul></li></ul><div><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></div>
<ul><li>excellent human relations to interface with doctors, other referral sources, and patients</li>
<li>computer literate</li>
<li>clinician authorized within scope of practice (as established by applicable state law or if none, by the applicable national board) to provide all patient care services offered by Lincare from time to time</li>
<li>Subject to state law/regulation, RNs, LPNs, LVNs, paramedics, EMTs, and other clinicians may also be qualified for this position
<ul><li>If applicable, based on the requirements of state, in addition to a valid state license, current National Board of Respiratory Care Credentials may also be required for<br>
CRTs and RRTs.</li>
<li>Subject to State requirements and management approval, on an exception basis,<br>
a person may be hired that does not meet all the above certifications and training, but practices respiratory therapy as authorized by applicable state law</li>
