Transportation Coordinators are responsible for communicating route information to their drivers and ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed at their tours of duty. Their main duties include logging each call, providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the field units&rsquo; routes to prioritize and organize their schedules.<p></p><div><div><p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>
Supervise and advise 30-60 drivers and monitors.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Responsible for developing and implementing efficient routes across several regions with regard to individual client needs. Assign driver assignments that reflect knowledge and good judgment regarding employee skills and performance.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must be able to receive, record, retrieve and deliver messages accurately, clearly and pleasantly; routinely solve operational problems, while maintaining cordial, professional relations with guardians, clients, program staff, customer staff, and all Company employees.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain and reinforce compliance with Company policies through dispatch and direct observation; develop driver skills through discussion and example.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Promote good performance through your positive support and recommend reassignment or appropriate discipline for non-compliance with Company rules or standards.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Spend sufficient time behind the wheel to know the routes, the clients, the drivers, and the programs and facilities; observe and supervise drivers in action, provide emergency back-up for absent drivers.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Build and maintain a positive relationship with those you supervise; understand and address the challenges they face.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Develop and maintain a professional rapport with all of our customers which includes but not limited to; programs, guardians, special needs clients of all ages and customer contacts from the organizations with whom we contract.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain detailed and organized records to accurately perform monthly billing count</p></li></ul></div><p></p><div><p><br>
Qualifications:</p></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must have prior supervising experience.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and have a strong work ethic.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and like solving problems.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Learn the programs, clients, and employees sufficiently to determine appropriate assignments.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Enjoy working with children.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Exhibit good technology skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook), Google Chrome, Android tablets, etc.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must maintain a safe driving record and driver&rsquo;s license and respond to coverage needs as required.</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>
Must be able to work comfortably in a small and busy office environment.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must be able to sit, stand, stretch, reach, lift and walk during an 8-hour shift.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Must be flexible and adaptable with ever-changing assignments.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Flexible schedule including early morning shifts.</p></li></ul></div><div><p>
Pay rate: $25/hour</p><p>

Serve as a contact to the school districts we serve.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Prepare monthly work schedules.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Oversee the maintenance function at your office and keep our vans in a high state of readiness.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Review and prepare billing each month.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Operations Manager or Vice President.</p></li></ul></div><div><p>
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience to positively impact the lives of children in your community by providing mobility without limits.</p></div><div><ul><li><p>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or related field.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
5+ years of progressive work experience in a work environment that is fast-paced. management of hourly staff, and responsible for managing metrics.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Proficient experience in the use of Microsoft Office</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain a good driving record and enjoy working in an environment that is 100% committed to supporting our students</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Self-motivated, show initiative and have a strong work ethic.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
