Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems across various property sites. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in refrigeration, HVAC design, plumbing, and equipment repair within a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC/R equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation.</li><li>Conduct field service visits to property sites for appliance repair, property maintenance, and emergency repairs.</li><li>Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs.</li><li>Follow safety protocols rigorously when handling refrigerants like ammonia or working with welding tools and boiler systems.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a service technician in refrigeration, HVAC/R, or property maintenance environments.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, plumbing, and boiler operation.</li><li>Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation or maintenance projects.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with appliance repair is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service settings.
