<div>For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Shop Welder will weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment for the new tank division. The position will require good knowledge of welding techniques and have the ability to produce quality work.

This shift operates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 12-hour days (6:00am-6:30pm). Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 as long as specific conditions are met!

Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
</li><li>Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
</li><li>Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
</li><li>Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
</li><li>Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
</li><li>Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.</li>

Qualifications:

<ul><li>3+ years of SMAW (stick) or FCAW (flux-core) welding experience
</li><li>Must be able to pass a company weld test
</li><li>Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair.
</li><li>Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
</li><li>Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
</li><li>Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
<ul><li>Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
</li><li>Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
</li><li>Must be able to see details at close range.
</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
</li><li>Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.</li>

Experienced Flux Core/Stick Welder, Weekends - Fabrication Shop

<div>For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Administrative Assistant at Maguire will support multiple departments by performing clerical and administrative functions.

Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Answers, screens, and transfers phone calls from external sources and internal transfers.
</li><li>Welcomes and directs visitors and clients visiting the Maguire Sioux Falls campus.
</li><li>Maintains filing systems as assigned.
</li><li>Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
</li><li>Data entry into ERP systems</li>
<li>Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions across the company for both on-campus team members and remote staff.
</li><li>Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
</li><li>Prepares meeting agendas and offers administrative support for business meetings.
</li><li>Prepares, maintains and sends company-wide announcements.
</li><li>Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
</li><li>Maintains office supplies on campus and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
</li><li>Prepare mailings and shipping services, including daily mail runs.
</li><li>Organize catering and food deliveries for company events.
</li><li>Leads special project(s) as assigned.

<li>Team oriented person who can focus on the details.</li>
<li>Professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
<ul><li>Majority of the time is spent in an office environment.
</li><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li>
</ul>
