POSITION SUMMARY: </b>Mariani Landscape is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across all aspects of HR to support employees and managers.</p><p></p><p>
The HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and helping employees navigate their journey at Mariani. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</p><p></p><p><b>
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>
Administer day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.</li><li>
Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.</li><li>
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of all required documentation.</li><li>
Maintain HRIS systems (Workday) and ensure accurate data entry for payroll and employment tracking.</li><li>
Assist with employee relations matters, including documentation, investigations, and follow-up.</li><li>
Coordinate performance review cycles and assist managers with goal setting and feedback processes.</li><li>
Support training and development initiatives by scheduling sessions and tracking participation.</li><li>
Help organize employee engagement activities and culture-building events.</li><li>
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.</li><li>
Generate HR reports and metrics such as turnover, headcount, and training completion.</li><li>
Participate in HR projects aimed at improving processes and employee experience.</li><li>
Ability to juggle multiple HR tasks and prioritize effectively.</li><li>
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
QUALIFICATIONS:
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>
3&ndash;5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.</li><li>
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.</li><li>
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.</li><li>
Proficient in HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus).</li><li>
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.</li><li>
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.</li></ul></div><p></p><div><p><b><br>
