Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
</li><li>Differentiate in products and service by producing quality products
</li><li>Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
</li><li>Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests
</li><li>Responsible for maintaining positive atmosphere, spirit and morale within the department
</li><li>Support and execute against division concepts and programs
</li><li>Utilize floral systems and processes consistently and correctly
</li><li>Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment
</li><li>Responsible for safeguarding, controlling and monitoring all floral department assets, ensuring policy and procedures are implemented for control of assets
</li><li>Accurately write and follow detailed instructions on special orders to ensure product meets or exceeds the guest&rsquo;s expectations
</li><li>Ensure special orders are ready 30 minutes prior to pick-up or delivery time
</li><li>Ensure wedding flowers are ready two hours prior to pickup or delivery time
</li><li>Assist in watering and department maintenance as needed
</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by management
</li></ul>Key Requirements:
<ul><li>Minimum of six months experience in retail floral designing and volume production
</li><li>Working knowledge of plants and flowers
</li><li>Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
</li><li>Ability to perform all physical aspects of position, including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, climbing, squatting and walking
</li><li>Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
</li><li>Ability to work within a cooler for up to 15 minutes
</li><li>Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
</li><li>Attend meetings and training sessions when called upon
</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays
</li><li>Ability to function as a team member and get along with others</li></ul></div>
