<div>This role drives environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, fosters an interdependent safety culture, and manages regulatory requirements, including RCRA and OSHA standards. Key responsibilities include conducting EHS audits, performing root cause analyses on incidents, and partnering with operations to implement preventive actions and training programs
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Partner with Operations management to drive all plant environmental, health and safety compliance and management system functions and activities; train, monitor and mentor both supervisors and managers in applicable modules of the EHS Management System (EHS Insight).
</li><li>Partner with Operation leadership and the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) to build greater awareness and a proactive mindset, fostering employee engagement towards an interdependent safety culture within the facility.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with plant specific operating permits &amp; required regulatory programs including RCRA (hazardous waste), stormwater, industrial wastewater, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), and the facility&rsquo;s Integrated Emergency Action Plan seeking guidance from the NASP Sr. Environmental Engineer or NASP EHS Director.
</li><li>Participate in critical Management of Change processes by working with Operations and Engineering, to ensure employee safety and environmental compliance is considered and integrated in the design phase of new or proposed projects.
</li><li>Lead &amp; participate in root cause analysis of all injuries, incidents, and near-misses identifying underlying causes and driving the development, implementation, and verification of effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence and strengthen workplace safety performance.
</li><li>Partner with Operations, supervisors, and the Joint Health &amp; Safety Committee (JHSC) to strengthen safety focus, engagement, and accountability, driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.
</li><li>Conduct comprehensive EHS audits within EHS Insight to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards, ensure compliance with regulatory and Mauser requirements, and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) through assignment, tracking, and timely closure.
</li><li>Coordinate and train employees and supervisors (train the trainer) in all subject areas required by OSHA training or covered under the Mauser NASP Safety Program.
</li><li>Work with HR to ensure all new hires or transferred workers receive the required orientation training prior to starting their new assignments.
</li><li>Interface with federal, state and local environmental and safety agencies on plant issues under the direction and guidance of the EHS Regional Manager or NASP EHS Director.
</li><li>Manage and ensure compliance with OSHA, U.S. EPA, and applicable state environmental, health, and safety regulations in accordance with regulatory and company requirements, while adhering to the guidance, standards, and processes established through the EHS Management System.
</li><li>Partner with site leadership at facilities to develop solutions to complex environmental, health and safety challenges; support budget planning to ensure current &amp; future EHS compliance, risk reduction &amp; operational safety needs are met.
</li><li>Communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, driving engagement, influencing outcomes, and championing the successful implementation of EHS-related change initiatives.
</li><li>Perform various other safety and environmental-related tasks, as assigned.
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health &amp; Safety or related program of study and a minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in an EH&amp;S position;
</li><li>Certifications in Environmental or Health &amp; Safety related programs preferred;
</li><li>Experience administering safety training in accordance with OSHA regulations;
</li><li>Experience in OSHA record-keeping related to various programs including Lock out Tag Out, Confined Space, Hazard Communication, Injury Reporting and other related programs;
</li><li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through critical thinking, objective analysis, continuous learning, and innovative solution development.
</li><li>Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy, composure, and sound judgment in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
</li><li>Experience with hazardous waste management and Clean Air Act reporting;
</li><li>Ability to travel between the facilities assigned (NASP Texas sites - Mansfield, Garland, Bryan)
</li><li>Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook;
</li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus;
</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li></ul></div>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
</li><li>At least 23 years old
</li><li>Minimum 1-year on the road experience
</li><li>Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds
</li><li>Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration
</li><li>No More than 1 DOT recordable accident in last 3 years
</li><li>No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
</li><li>No DUIs in last 5 years
</li><li>Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
</li><li>Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
</li><li>A Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required.
</li><li>Maintains all required company paperwork.
</li><li>Follows all State &amp; Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards.
</li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate in English
</li><li>Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.
