Physical Therapist - PRN

Provides a timely and effective response to unanticipated facility needs, minimizing risks to patient and team members, to maintain safety and avoid interruption of service.</li><li>
Performs and manages assigned tasks including preventive maintenance and on-demand work orders, on equipment and buildings, withing the established time frames while meeting departmental expectations for quality of work.</li><li>
Performs minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.</li><li>
Assists in the completion of special projects including insulating, painting, demolition and general clean up.</li><li>

Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic

<div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Provides pre-hospital advanced life support care from the initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility; maintains thorough patient care documentation (TraumaSoft/Epic) in a timely manner.</li><li>
Practices within his/her scope of practice as defined by the State of Illinois/Wisconsin and Mercyhealth. Maintains competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences. Communicates educational needs to the program leadership.</li><li>
Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures.</li><li>
Performs advanced skills and procedures as approved by Mercyhealth.</li><li>
Maintains documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, and safety training, OSHA and HIPAA training, clinical rotations, and advanced procedures. Attends educational programs as required by the medical direct.</li>
Serves as a role model, educator and clinical resource. Participates regularly in departmental activities, simulation, projects and committees (to include research and publishing opportunities). Maintains awareness of current issues related to pre-hospital care through participation in professional activities, i.e., national, state legislative<li>-elected or appointed.</li><li>
Acts as a preceptor and/or participates in on-boarding/orientation of new partners and students. Clearly communicates program goals and objectives.</li><li>
Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by Mercyhealth. Responsible for reporting medical equipment failures and taking initial steps to insure repair of equipment as directed. Maintains adequate supplies within program/ambulances to deliver patient care. Assist with the routine maintenance of the ambulance, equipment and facilities to ensure a clean, orderly, and professional appearance to insure rapid response to all transport requests.</li><li>
Functions as a CCTT ground team member by attending pre-call briefings and post-call debriefings. Assists in pre-call, i.e., radio, navigational, and weather observation activities. Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment. Conducts safety briefings as needed.</li><li>
Participates regularly in Mercyhealth meetings, activities, projects and committees (to include research and publishing opportunities).</li><li>
Participates in patient and referring institution follow-up and planned outreach marketing and education activities.</li><li>
Maintains a clean work and patient environment.</li><li>
Processes orders in an accurate and timely manner. Answers the telephone and call lights appropriately provides information or relays messages to patients and staff.</li><li>

Performs venipuncture, IV access, 12-lead acquisition, blood glucose analysis, and CPR as ordered/directed.</li><li>

Floats to outlying Mercyhealth facilities (Janesville, Rockford, Walworth, Harvard) based on identified needs/staffing models.</li><li>

Minimum of two (2) years' (minimum of 4,000 hours) recent experience in a high volume 911 system and Advanced Life Support (ALS) experience required.

Security Operations Center Dispatcher

<div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Interpret and understand coverage and benefit limitations by having a comprehensive understanding of benefits and state requirements for multiple markets.</li><li>
Identify trends and suggest and develop efficiencies in the revenue cycle through review and trending of payer contracts and reimbursement trends.
</li><li>Research and trends denials from payors.</li><li>
Reads through healthcare contracts and contract language and ensures proper contract workflows.
</li><li>Researches remittances and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for complete accurate payments or denials.</li><li>
Work with payers to understand specific reasons for variances and/or denials and measures to prevent future denials.</li><li>
Research payer policies and requirements and utilize knowledge to determine whether an appeal is required and to get claims overturned.</li><li>
Develop sound and well-supported appeal arguments, where an appeal is warranted.</li><li>
Submits corrected claims and appeals.</li><li>
Coordinates appeals with clinical or coding areas within the revenue cycle.
</li><li>Requests appropriate adjustments, when required.</li><li>
Provide training and guidance to team members on market specific issues by providing feedback to management on claims and provider issues, and updating client business rules.</li><li>

Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Analyst 1

Assists in the design, development and coordination of training sessions, programs and competency testing for Revenue Cycle Operations.</li><li>
Prepares, assembles and revises course materials annually or as requested to meet department needs.</li><li>
Achieves and maintains a solid understanding of the business environment as a whole, including business practices, processes and strategies.</li><li>
Conducts training, development, competency testing and general orientation sessions for partners in all areas of Revenue Cycle including Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, Managed Care and Coding.</li><li>
Assists in evaluation of effectiveness of training programs.</li><li>
Develops presentation materials, leads meetings and facilitates workgroups.</li><li>
Maintains master training calendar, ensure availability of equipment, space and materials.</li><li>
Prepares course advertising materials; coordinates schedule of external and internal training resources.</li><li>
Communicates all set-ups of training sessions and ensures necessary materials and supplies are available.</li><li>
Follows-up with staff in-person after completion of training to ensure competency or retraining as necessary.</li><li>
Works with management team to provide additional support including coaching and in-services.</li><li>
Facilitates, and measures regular quality audits across the Revenue Cycle areas to ensure areas meet organizational objectives;</li><li>
Conducts quality audits and provides feedback to division leadership.</li><li>

Identifies and facilitates lean initiatives for areas that fail to meet performance metrics.</li><li>
Demonstrates collaboration and flexibility to deliver education when most convenient for the department.</li><li>
Partners with information systems to test all EPIC upgrades for Revenue Cycle areas with keen understanding of changes and impacts to revenue cycle processes.</li><li>
Documents department workflows and inter-departmental impacts via Visio workflow documentation.</li><li>
Identifies opportunities for improvements during workflow documentation and notifies leadership of such opportunities.</li><li>
Creates and maintains workflow documentation and training materials in a central storage location to allow partner accessibility when needed.</li><li>
Partners with all team members to achieve goals.</li><li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.</li><li>
 Three years of experience, developing, planning and facilitating training materials, performance improvement and program management required.</li><li>
Strong analytical, oral, and written communication &amp; presentation skills required.</li><li>
Three years of revenue cycle related functions in conjunction with training preferred.</li><li>
Ability to demonstrate experience in developing and conducting employee training programs required.</li><li>
Experience using Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft office, Visio, and Microsoft Word Required.</li><li>
Experience with software related to developing training and other virtual training materials required.</li></ul>
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
 Healthcare revenue cycle related certification or an equivalently designated certification approved by management required within 1 year.

Create summary reports, data extracts, and other financial analyses for management and external vendors.</li><li>
Pull underlying data by creating/modifying SQL queries to run in Epic's Clarity database.</li><li>
Adjust query outputs in Excel, add formulas, charts, and graphs to summarize data and show underlying trends.</li><li>
Link output data to other workbooks to create more complex data models if required.</li><li>
Uses Visual Studio to generate appropriate output format.</li><li>
Uses Excel VBA to automate reports.</li><li>
Build contract models using Epic contract modeling tools.</li><li>
Build contract models in Excel by querying Epic's Clarity database.</li><li>
Refresh underlying claim data in contract models as contract terms change.</li><li>
Build SQL templates to pull patient, claim, department, or enterprise-wide data.</li><li>
Maintains and updates the templates after each Epic upgrade.</li><li>
