Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with excellent transcription skills and experience working within electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while contributing to high-quality patient care.Duties<ul><li>Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers by capturing real-time information related to patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans.</li><li>Navigate and utilize various EMR and EHR systems efficiently to input, update, and retrieve patient data.</li><li>Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.</li><li>Support physicians in managing documentation workflows to optimize clinic efficiency and reduce administrative burden.</li><li>Demonstrate a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to accurately interpret clinical information.</li><li>Ensure all documentation adheres to legal, ethical, and institutional standards for medical records management.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate seamless communication and accurate record-keeping during patient visits.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Exceptional transcription skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems is essential.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures.</li><li>Excellent typing speed coupled with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation swiftly.</li><li>Familiarity with medical records management protocols and compliance standards.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic clinical setting while maintaining accuracy.</li><li>Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting team operations.
