 The role has a core tech / development focus &ndash; this is to run what is a heavily analytical hands-on approach to typical trade support responsibilities (as opposed to manual processing) + to constantly run a large volume of automation / process improvement projects, but to also regularly work on ad-hoc projects for the tech, quant and investment teams. The hire will learn and use Python/SQL/VBA/R to a strong standard in the role.

Graduate Analyst (Trade Support / Python Developer) – Quant Hedge Fund - Six-figure $TC

 Our client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to hire a Market Data Analyst in their New York office. This is a newly created hire and will be the first member of the Data Management team in NYC - reporting directly to the Global Head of Data.
 
 
 
 
 
 Stepping into a highly autonomous role, the hire will take on a crucial role working to support multiple investment teams with data operations and quality management, taking ownership of the full spectrum of investment data from onboarding through to investment instrument set up and trade execution support. The hire will have the opportunity to take on key projects driving the centralisation of the platform, the integration of new APIs and supporting with data management responsibilities for the launch of new investment strategies and products.
 
 
 
 
 
 The hire will also have the opportunity to develop their commercial skillset by managing relationships with key data vendors and exchanges - managing contracts, overseeing vendor onboarding and acting as the point of the escalation (albeit with support from the wider data team globally).

Market Data Analyst – Global Hedge Fund – Up to $300K TC Package

 A global, multi-strategy hedge fund is hiring into its trade support / middle office team in New York as part of continued growth across the platform.
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a highly desk-facing role, embedded directly with Portfolio Managers and operating very much as a trader assistant function. PMs trade their own books and rely on this team for real-time support across live trading activity, trade booking and flow queries, P&amp;L and risk, corporate actions, and lifecycle events &mdash; offering genuine proximity to trading and markets.
 
 
 
 
 
 The firm has a very strong track record of consistent performance, with positive returns every year since launch. It has hired multiple new PMs in recent years and continues to invest heavily in systems, automation, and front-to-back infrastructure. The role will face-off to a high performing investment team (hybrid TA remit), predominately covering power, gas &amp; oil trading.
