The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Psychiatrist for the Student and Trainee Mental Health Program (STMH).

The Student and Trainee Mental Health (STMH) Program at Mount Sinai is seeking a dynamic physician to join our expanding team. Situated on the Upper East Side of New York City, adjacent to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, STMH is a unique and rewarding program that evaluates and treats medical students, house-staff (residents and fellows), graduate students, and postdoctoral trainees from programs across the Mount Sinai Health System. STMH has grown significantly in the past few years, in keeping with our mission of expanding in-house access to high quality, evidence-based mental health care for our students and trainees.

This is a full-time, outpatient position with a mix of on-site and remote/tele-health work, with late hours on at least 2 days of the week, to meet the needs of the population we serve. There are no on-call responsibilities. The position is available from July 2026.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Staff Psychiatrist/Assistant Professor

Service: Student and Trainee Mental Health program &ndash; Outpatient

Purpose of Position:

<li>Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatments in an outpatient faculty practice for Mount Sinai Health System students (medical and graduate), post-doctoral trainees, and house-staff, ensuring appropriate longitudinal care.</li>

Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Provide direct psychiatric assessment and ongoing treatment (medication management, psychotherapy) of students and trainees</li>
<li>Function as an integral part of a collaborative team which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers</li>
<li>Contribute to psycho-education and outreach efforts to the Mount Sinai student and trainee community</li>
</ul> 
Qualifications<ul>
<li>MD or DO degree; completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program; and be board certified/board eligible for General Adult Psychiatry</li>
<li>New York State medical license</li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to work as a member of a team</li>
<li>Excellent clinical and psychopharmacological knowledge</li>
<li>Training/experience working with a student population is desired</li>

Psychiatry - Physician - Student and Trainee Mental Health Program - Manhattan, NY

<div>Description
The Materials Associate for the O.R. conducts materials/product procurement and replenishment for all perioperative specialty areas. 
Responsibilities
1. Manages the shelf stock of all consumables used in the perioperative environment including commodity and implantable products.

2. Places orders directly with vendors via appropriate computer applications.

3. Manages cycle counts, inventory balance adjustments and physical inventory count sheets.

4. Reviews implant logs on a daily basis to replace low quality, high unit cost implantables as they are used.

5. Maintains accurate item and vendor files in the purchasing system by updating all key fields such as description, manufacturer, catalog number, price and inventory bin locations.

6. Provides cross training for all preoperative specialty areas including Cardiac, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, GU/Gyn, Plastics and Ophthalmology to ensure these areas have trained staff available during periods of short staffing or position vacancies.

7. Works with other support departments to ensure timely and appropriate supply and logistical services.

8. Responds at once to all product and device recalls mandated by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other regulatory agencies.

9. Responds to manufacturer recalls by working with Nurse Managers and Nurse Coordinators to identify alternate sources of affected products.

10. Collaborates with nursing staff to appropriately identify par levels and supply locations. Recommends process changes needed to ensure effective and efficient OR supply levels.

11. Other relevant duties as assigned.

The Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai West (MSW) and Mount Sinai Morningside (MSM) Hospitals, with a rich history in clinical care and teaching, seeks a full-time Advanced Endoscopist / Therapeutic Endoscopy Gastroenterologist physician interested in advancing our thriving inpatient and outpatient services.

As a new member of the full-time faculty, you will assume a primarily clinical role within the Division. You will have 8 half-day outpatient sessions per week. It is expected that they will include 6 sessions of endoscopy and 2 sessions of office hours. The locations of these sessions may include, but are not limited to, the faculty practice gastroenterology office sites at 425 W. 59th Street, the Mount Sinai Morningside Ambulatory Care Center, 158 W. 124th Street for office hours, and the endoscopy suites at Mount Sinai West, Mount Sinai Morningside, and Upper West Side Endoscopy (Ansonia). <div>Description
The Associate Researcher is an entry laboratory research position, responsible for conduct of routine and standardized experiments using techniques specific to the assigned research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or a senior researcher. This individual assists in the interpretation of research outcomes and may be responsible for lab and clerical support. S/he analyzes and assists in interpreting research outcomes. 
Responsibilities
1. Under direct supervision, conducts routine and standardized experiments using appropriate research techniques specific to subject matter of the research project.

2. Analyzes and assists in interpreting laboratory results.

3. Performs assays to support research studies.

4. Maintains laboratory environment and assists in the upkeep of appropriate inventory; may include ordering of supplies.

5. Logs and tests samples; prepares and submits laboratory materials and specimens for shipment.

6. Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.

7. Performs other related duties.

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.5 - $34.1212 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
