HVAC Installer - ResidentialLight Commercial: In this position you will be part of our retrofit installation team, installing both residential and light commercial equipment.
Position: HVAC Installation Technician
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs/bonuses. Potential annual earnings $100,000 +
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

What you will be doing:<ul><li>
Installing primarily residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, ducted and ductless systems</li><li>
Correctly size, fabricate, install, insulate, and seal ductwork</li><li>
Low voltage control wiring of thermostats and accessories</li><li>
Refrigerant application with line sets brazing and implementation of AC and Heat Pump Systems</li><li>
Installing and testing gas pipe</li><li>
Equipment start-up and troubleshooting techniques</li><li>
Train helpers and support installation teammates
</li><li>Educating customers on their equipment so they have the very best experience after installation</li><li>
Solving in-field installation challenges and working through options with the sales team and customer</li><li>
Offering customers additional options that will improve their in-home comfort
</li></ul>What We Are Looking For:
<ul><li>Valid driver's license and insurable driving record</li><li>
3 + years of HVAC Installation experience
</li><li>Residential Retrofit experience required
</li><li>EPA Universal Certification
</li><li>Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations</li><li>
Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams</li><li>
Experience running and testing gas piping</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
</li><li>Basic sheet metal practices
</li><li>Knowledge and ability to follow city and county installation codes</li><li>
Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School desired</li></ul></div>

</li><li>Consulting with customers regarding repair and replacement options; Replacement needs are forwarded to the Comfort Advisor/Salesperson
</li><li>Educating clients on indoor air quality products that fit customers' needs
</li><li>Communicating with the service manager about product needs, training enhancement, or desired specialty training</li></ul>

</li><li>Advanced customer service skills
</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
